Good for you, but is Zeke your son? If not then I'm sure he doesn't have to live by your dogma, neither does the young lady who is and did party with him.

Before anyone takes it their, unless you know both his mother and father, we also shouldn't assume they aren't good parents or haven't or wont talk to him, that would just be beyond arrogant and ignorant.
No, but he has to live by the law. He'll be lucky if this turns out to be a non-event for him.

Since the investigation is still ongoing, expect a 6 game suspension announced after final roster cuts...

Did anyone think he did it because she was okay with it? I mean, she flashes the crowd again after that.

I dont think Zeke would have done it otherwise. She appeared fine with flashing but looked as if she was going to control that and not some handsy football player. Zeke just needs to be careful.

All in good fun. She didn't seem to mind if she hung out with him after the parade. Hardly a real sexual assault. Unless you were on that balcony you don't know what the circumstances were. You don't know what signals she was putting off. I have a pretty good idea though. If youve never been around the younger generation and the parties then you may be more shocked by this behavior. But it is not uncommon. His biggest mistake is thinking he is still in college. He's now a pro and should be much more discreet and that frat boy crap doesn't fly anymore.

Please save me the PC bro response about how you think I secretly hate women. Nobody loves women more than I.

I'm like women too. Love women, do I. :]

I am the father of 3 daughters and 2 sons, and if I caught one of my sons doing this, no matter what their age or size, I'd be opening a can of whoop@$$ on them. Sounds like Zeke needs some of that. Maybe Witt or someone in a leadership position over there will lay down some ground rules.

lol now you are going to commit DV

Sorry bro. That's sexual assault. Legal definition and all. Welcome to the 20th century. Backwards thinking like yours gotta go

Yes there is common sense and Zeke showed none of it. If this woman or the NFL wants to hit Zeke with consequences then he is screwed because he broke the law. Whether you agree with the law or not, it's still the law. If you guys feel this strongly about it being wrong then petition the Texas governor or something. But if Zeke gets charged and he says that the law does not make common sense then he is going to blasted by the prosecutor. If your whole defense is based on the notion that the law isn't common sense then all I can say is good luck, because that will not hold up in court.
I also agree with you that this is probably not the last time this will come up. I also agree that I hope he gets tagged for a 1-2 game suspension to wake him up. Or I would like to see the Cowboys step in and discipline him before the Dictator Goodell does. Definitely get him some counseling.

I am not saying anything about the law.
I am just commenting how ridiculous the law is.

If she wants to take advantage, he is toast, whether in bing or worse.

My suggestion to Zeke is to play with loose woman outside United States if he must.
He is opening himself to so many forms of blackmail etc even if he is a nice guy at heart.

Since Jerry partakes himself, it is hard to believe much will happen.
Dont tell me Jerry had his consent form and notary public with him in those special pictures.

Not really. Opening a can of whoop@$$ can mean more than just beating the tar out of someone, at least how I was using it. My sons would much rather a beating, however, than me taking their (my) car or not paying for their college tuition, living expenses, etc... I didn't expect Witt to kick Zeke's behind, either, which should've been a clue that I didn't mean only a physical beating.

Sad how many people here are of the mindset that what he did was ok since she didn't seem to mind AFTER he pulled down her shirt.

So even though it appears as if she had no idea that he was about to pull down her shirt only if she was offended then did he do something wrong.

So if I hit a child or punch a woman it's ok as long as they don't file charges. According to the disturbing logic by some people here they woukd say "who cares, if they didn't file charges then why should we care, it's obviously no big deal".

Sickening.

That's not consent.

Newsflash - you can't touch people sexually without consent. Hanging out and drinking isn't an invitation.

Holy crap people. You don't just get to grope chicks because they are hanging out with you. Please don't have children and pass on this ignorance

lol, look we can get the law book out and charge each other with all types of crimes if we want to.
how we choose to live as a society is another story.

i dont mean to imply rape, dv are not horrible.
however, a lot of this stuff is simply not there.
there are certain norms in certain situation (e.g. mardi gras) where the rules are bent.
sure, we can all bring out the law books and throw everyone in jail.
but a lot of it is just some young kids having fun.

should zeke have done it.
absolutely no.
is he an idiot.
absolutely yes.
do i think he is forcing himself on her.
no but of course none of us were there.

i think everyone understands this.
however, i suspect the majority of men in the US would have been in jail by your definition.
