One of the Cowboys beat writers on a podcast weeks alluded to other incidents that the general public was unaware of. And how the team has done a good job of basically making the incidents disappear while keeping all subjects involved silent.
Yes he's been out partying ( prior to camp), and there are things that the general public doesn't know and if the NFL investigators just checked his social media and other players and then go interview the security at those places or even pay them for info, lots of stuff would come out. Lots

Most of the security are loyal, but I've seen some paid off before. If you need info and are willing to pay $200-2000 for good info. Boom! Jackpot

I could make a killing investigating...it all starts at da clubz

Even if Zeke is suspended people...he will push his appeal to right before the season and he will be playing indefinitely.

This is not even factoring in the obvious legal battle that is ahead of this.

This is not over if he is suspended...it's just beginning.
This.
The Giants and Denver games were already going to be toss-ups. The Cowboys would appeal just that alone.

Don't get caught pulling down a girl's top on a party float. Don't get speeding 100 mph. Don't find yourself in a situation where you or a member of your party knocks out a guy at a bar.

Amazing how this stuff didn't seem to happen to guys like Witten or Tryon Smith when they were rookie and 2nd year players in the league.

Is he getting suspended for driving too fast? I'm in a rental car about every other week. A few weeks ago they gave me a Challenger with the big engine. I couldn't resist and had it cursing at 120 mph at one point. It hardy seems like a heinous crime.

Its clear the league didnt have the ammunition on this allegation alone. Had Zeke not continued to stay in hot water the league wouldnt have been able to roll this all up under one pretty "conduct detrimental" package.
I agree with the exception of if we don't know all the facts. If in fact he did destroy "evidence" then he'll be guilty which I understand.
There are countless pics on the internet of Gronk with his hands all over women. No suspension.

Josh Huff was caught with guns, had altercations, some drug allegations last year. No suspension.

Josh Brown beat his wife senseless for years. One game.

Pacman just committed yet another offense recently after a career of them. Nothing.

There is zero consistency.

I'm not arguing there is zero consistency, I'm agreeing with that. Here's a simple, generic list of all recent suspensions. If you dig further, some are warranted and some aren't. Some have been convicted by law, some haven't. Again, my point is the NFL is a joke with how inconsistent they are but this wouldn't be a first and the Cowboys aren't the only ones who feel cheated.

Not sure this is accurate. It's been reported that he has 3 days to appeal and the appeal will be heard within the next 10 days. I think the only way he could play to start the year under suspension is if he went to court and got an injunction.

6 games would make no sense unless he is proven guilty of DV or some new allegations come out. He hasn't been making great decisions, but he also hasn't done anything worthy of more than a fine or a game at the very most even though that doesn't even make sense. That would be huge money for Zeke. You better believe it would be fought.

I think Hardy, Ro McClain, Brent, Gregory, and all the other suspensions are playing into this, too.

Not fair to Zeke, but certainly takes away from Jerry's argument.
I agree. And I wasn't defending them at the time. Most of them deserved it. But the NFL still isn't consistent and the Commissioner shouldn't have all this power.

Well, I'm one of those blind homers that think we'll win it all every year. What can I say...lol

I actually bet $100 -$200 every year at a sports book for us to win the super bowl, so in actuality the Zeke suspension (and others) should push the odds down to 15 or 20-1, makes me look real smart in November/December if we get through this, then not so smart if we get knocked out early...lol.

some of those odds are good. I did that a few years back, but I always lose the ticket.

He's likely getting suspended for the volume of off the field issues (and possibly for things we don't even know about as has been alleged by some).

Now 6 games would be excessive, absolutely. A game or a massive fine? I could see that.

And FWIW, you asked the question about keeping his nose clean. These are just examples of him clearly not keeping his nose clean.

If nothing else, I hope this does serve as a moment of clarity for EE that he needs to grow up or risk losing it all.

Maybe...kind of repeating what I heard on Talkin Cowboys this morning.

FYI---Hardy was suspended originally on April 22, he appealed and it was reduced on July 10th.

So that is quite a bit of time.
