Early leaks of rumored 6 games a chance for NFL to see what the reaction is? Entire investigation seems weird and dragged out. Additionally, I think it's ridiculous for any player to be suspended and never charged with a crime but NFL can basically do what they want, unfortunately.

Don't get caught pulling down a girl's top on a party float. Don't get speeding 100 mph. Don't find yourself in a situation where you or a member of your party knocks out a guy at a bar.

Amazing how this stuff didn't seem to happen to guys like Witten or Tryon Smith when they were rookie and 2nd year players in the league.

IF he did something let him pay the price, if it's another politically influenced sentence it will be difficult to digest. I am in agreement that he has been playing fast and loose with the fringes of NFL conduct.

This is the damnedest thing I've seen in a while.

Mike Florio, Cris Carter, all these media outlets are pushing the story hard of a suspension, today upping the ante to six games.

Meanwhile, Jerry and the Cowboys are insisting that no suspension is coming.

This must be a serious standoff in the background. I suspect threats are flying.

Fascinating, but confusing as can be.

IIRC He was put on the exempt list, where he still got to collect a salary. But yea, he was "suspended" in terms of not being able to play.

Yes, he did get paid; nevertheless, there seemed to be zero actual proof that he did anything.

Its clear the league didnt have the ammunition on this allegation alone. Had Zeke not continued to stay in hot water the league wouldnt have been able to roll this all up under one pretty "conduct detrimental" package.

You all know what is likely to happen right? Now that it's leaked he probably is getting a suspension, the league will drag this out until next week to officially announce the punishment making the Cowboys and Elliott twist even more now.

There are countless pics on the internet of Gronk with his hands all over women. No suspension.

Josh Huff was caught with guns, had altercations, some drug allegations last year. No suspension.

Josh Brown beat his wife senseless for years. One game.

Pacman just committed yet another offense recently after a career of them. Nothing.

There is zero consistency.

Should have never been reinstated, plain and simple. You said it, he did prison time for KILLING someone. Playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a right.

Well, I'm one of those blind homers that think we'll win it all every year. What can I say...lol

I actually bet $100 -$200 every year at a sports book for us to win the super bowl, so in actuality the Zeke suspension (and others) should push the odds down to 15 or 20-1, makes me look real smart in November/December if we get through this, then not so smart if we get knocked out early...lol.

$200 X 22 years = $4400 ouch.

I tend to agree with this.

I could live with the league giving him a huge fine or even say a one game suspension for some of this stuff. But 6 would be ridiculously heavy handed IMO (again barring new info that comes out and shows he was a lot worse than we know off the field).
