True but what is more concerning is how judge Fallia overruled the recommendation from a senior judge, whom explicitly stated that this case merits the TRO/PI.

Sure this impacts our game plan but it probably impacts the Chiefs more. They played a divisional game (which are always hard fought) on Monday so it's a short week from them, it's a home game for us so they have to travel, and when they put their game plan together they weren't expecting us to have Zeke.

i don't think that's right. the 2CA ruling will be on the prelim injuction which in turn is based on the merits (fundamental fairness and irreperable harm)

Issuing a stay tells me the court understands that it needs to be heard on its merits. The court could have denied the stay. Of course, this isn't all that different than the temporary stay that was granted until Faila ruled on the injunction, so it's entirely possible the 2nd Circuit will uphold that ruling.

I feel you but we're getting into playoffs territory pretty soon. I was almost willing to concede getting him back for the playoffs but to your point as confident as I am in the team, there may be no playoffs without him with the stretch ahead.
