Sure this impacts our game plan but it probably impacts the Chiefs more. They played a divisional game (which are always hard fought) on Monday so it's a short week from them, it's a home game for us so they have to travel, and when they put their game plan together they weren't expecting us to have Zeke.

I'm pretty sure they game planned for either scenario. It's also possible their defensive strategy would be the same with or without Zeke.
But it does give them something more to think about.

Boy I tell ya, I think they'd have a hard time changing the punishment when it is already assigned to Elliott and written clearly in black and white, especially since that's what they tried to do to Rice and got smacked down.

IMHO if they tried to do that, it would be a separate court case with an injunction that would be ridiculously easy to get.

You would think one of the NFL Lawyers would of caught that missing information. The language should of included playoff games as well. What a joke this league head office is!!

I'm not sure why they would have since no one expected Zeke's appeal to succeed today. Even if they did, that's still good for us since they have a short week anyway and planning for multiple scenarios takes time. I do think it makes a difference in the game plan as teams seem to sell out to stop Zeke and make Dak beat them so without him they may not put as big an emphasis on stopping the run.

The whole DV policy is new so no one can apply what they did in the substance abuse or conduct policy as their intent...... you need a failed test or arrest to get charged in the Drug Policy.... not the same standards in the DV policy
