The longer this goes on, the fact that it is so stupid and so unnecessary just makes the league look worse and worse. What a voluntary clown act.

Which is exactly why I'm glad it's happening. I'm already boycotting the NFL for this type of imbecilic ***holery actions. They are losing viewership and money and it's a product of their own actions.

Let the destruction continue as long as possible.

Cawley is (sort of) mistaken here. Brady's suspension was "pushed back" because he won his first round, and all these legal maneuverings took place during the offseason. Brady never got a restraining order or injunction because his first ruling (the one he won) came the week before NE's first game and the second ruling (the one he lost) came during the following offseason.

As for the NFL's policies.... that text stating that suspensions carry over to the playoffs strengthens their case, but I still think the punishment letter trumps it.

I suspect Zeke would lose that battle just for the fact that it would be six regular season games if in fact he had served the suspension when it was first issued.

If the suspension is stayed until the playoffs. Then the NFL should easily be able to say the suspension starts now.

Actually, if the NFL really want to get ugly. Being suspended is being suspended. They can say he is suspended for six regular season games. Until he serves all six regular season games. He remains on suspension which would mean he wouldn't get to attend the playoffs or even training camp as he would literally still be on suspension.

Players are paid differently in the playoffs. The NFL pays those games at a set rate. Not team paid full salaries.

I have a fear that we'll still have this hanging when training camp rolls around next year.

Back to the chiefs fans. I was on one of their threads and I swear 90 Percent of them are counting this game as a loss. I think it will be close because they have Kelce, Hill, and Hunt. Hunt is going to run wild but if we keep their O on the sidelines we got this.....

We have to hit Alex Smith. Not give him Aaron Rodgers time finding his recievers.
