I can’t think of a single way other than the offense having LESS explosive plays (big plays) and more methodically driving down the field.

You’re making the braindead argument that only the cowboys offense can affect time of possession. It’s a false argument. The defense actually stopping the run and getting off the field occasionally also affects time of possession.
