He ain't getting 140 every game, but remember he's going to get better. He's shown improvement every game thus far. Look at the blocking. He absolutely torpedoed guys on blitz pickups the last 2 games. Those that just look at stats or whine about 'he shouldn't even be on this team, we shoulda/coulda/woulda used that #4 pick on Ramsey!' will miss that.

I love how 2 weeks ago people were screaming after the NY game Elliott was a 'huge disappointment', 'underperforming', etc. Of course, these were often the same stupid posters who were screaming Dez had been revealed to be a scrub at last after a 1 catch outing for 8 yards.

Stupid people will post stupid stuff. We know this. 3 games into the season our 'bust' and 'wasted pick' at #4 is 'underperforming' to the tune of 274 yards and tied for 2nd overall in the entire NFL at running the ball.

At least wait a few games before pronouncing whether a guy is a 'disappointment' or not.

I'm with you but it's still early and he can still prove us wrong.

Being a top guy statistically in rushing is just something almost anyone could do in our backfield.

I'm expecting Ladanian Thomlinson / Edgerrin James type of special from him.

He was drafted top 5 and getting shoe string tackled over and over and just get what is blocked is not what we signed up for.
Edgerrin James special huh.. Lol come on

Whats funny is that for the same reason people wanted him at 4 (reactionary) they were bailing on him after 2 games. I dont see this percieved trend of people that didnt want a rb at 4 being the ones that are going after him.

Agreed he may get over 200 once in a while.

140 in your eye.
lol - as silly as this is getting, that made me laugh.

Looking at the title of this thread I was wondering how the heck is it over 10 pages ?

Figured someone must be stirring the pot over some touchy issue.

I get that people don't like drafting a RB as high as the cowboys did - I wasn't for it myself at the time.

But its over and done with and the kid looks like he's going to be a very good player. I like the fact that he has power and speed and that he is an excellent pass protector as well as an option in the pass game if they need it.

He was benched with the game in question.
Yes, I know that. I was clarifying the other persons post because it seemed like you missed what he was saying. I'm not arguing either way about it.

The people still clamoring that we should've taken Ramsey over Zeke... you guys might be on to something if Zeke wasn't playing well, if Ramsey actually was playing well, and if our secondary hasn't been shockingly good.

Ramsey is playing well.

Great point. We had a first round CB not play well therefore we should never take a CB ever again in the first round.
