No.....not appreciating the balls it takes to play with pain and do the little things like pass blocking, that's scary and pathetic

Pass blocking is one thing. People throwing around terms such as thunder and lightning is beyond pathetic. It is downright delirious. There is one big play running back and a excellent blocking full back in the backfield at this time.

You do realize that the Titans are one of the better teams against the run? You are aware of this, correct? Surely a post that reeks of such intelligence knows this

what will it take for the Cowboys themselves becoming one of the better run defenses in the NFL ..instead of of the questionable run defenses in the NFL ..??

There could be 2 but they are using Zeke instead of Davis ha ha ha

Little Jalen and Josh Allen are running for 50+ yards a game.

And we're worried about designating a RB to block instead of catch and run.

Zeke is no threat to catch a ball over 5 yards kinda changes how the defense plays the down you'd think

I broke all the stats down

Zeke is hitting the same holes and walls as these other 2 backs

They are outperforming him offensively in long runs and passing and drawing defenders away from our wrs

Design some plays to get the ball out faster or get an oline that can pass block.

He obviously isn't a great quick passing target based upon stats so it kinda tips of the Defense off js

How many Pro Bowl and All Pro votes did the Blocker Back get??

I just hope he doesn't pee his pants 3 straight playoff games in a row!!! urgh

How was his blocking in the playoffs???

Ha ha ha

If his line pees its pants in the playoff game it's gonna be three in a row ... and this team will lose its 4th straight playoff game.

Not if they throw RB passes
We beat Philly doing that last week.

Cincinnati had the worst oline in the league last year and they made it through 3 playoff games.

There's going to be games like that. There's some teams out there that have hellacious fronts that are going to kick our line's butt because no matter what PFF or anybody else says, they aint that good. I mean they don't completely suck but they're not dominant and haven't been for a while. I do think the tight end blocking is more of a problem than gets talked about. A lot of our running plays seem to count on them to make a block.. and a lot of those plays fail cause they don't make it. I don't know how you fix that frankly other than to draft/sign a big body blocking tight end. The group we have now doesn't seem to have even a B level blocker among them. The good news is that QB and the passing game are pretty damn good aint they..
Yes sir they are good and there may be days that they need to carry team but I’d much rather have the complimentary run game and yes our TE group minus Ferguson sucks at blocking

Try not to forget cincy was carried by a defense that played outstanding during their playoff run
Burrow and chase connection aside that defense is what got them to sb last year

now this year is a different story

We clearly benefit from both. This is dumb.

We all know this is a committee.

We could clearly benefit from using all 3 or one as a fb is the argument

We're way past ya

The most overrated thing in the NFL is the Dallas Cowboys offensive line. Those Titan DTs were in our backfield as much as Zeke was.
.....our OL gets a pass each week. It is very overrated, including TE blocking. Philbin's OL has some questionable performances, at best. It will soon get Dak crushed again.

Key word there being "looked." I didn't see a lot of holes to hit to be honest. Aside from one run where the line cleared everybody out Davis averaged less ypc than Zeke did. As in the overall result was worse. Who cares what how it "looked?" It also "looked" like he was slapped down with one hand on a few carries. Kudos to him for the one nice run.. but I repeat.. untouched until 15 yards. The rest of the time it "looked" like he was running into the same brick wall Zeke was and getting fewer yards for his efforts. The line lost last night.. so the runners weren't all that successful overall except for one play. That's what it "looked" like to me.
But Davis caught 2 passes one for 18 yards and a first down and one for 5 yards for a first down. He converted 2 first downs passing the ball.

Zeke doesn't really have that skillset in his bag of tricks.

Davis had 2 plays of 18 and 23 on (12 touches for 62 yards)

Zeke's longest play was 6 yards (19 touches for 37 yards)

The dirty yards Zeke was getting were 2-3 yard max

Zeke did get a key first down and a 1 yard TD run but he also got stuffed for a 4 yard loss on 3rd down

Davis has hit big plays fairly regularly. So has Pollard .

Whatever Zeke can do rushing and passing the two little guys can do better.

I could break down every games for y'all statistically but all those dirty yard run #'s are not as good statistically.

He's not like Murray when he left. He's more like Emmitt when he left. Js
