I'm an Ohio State fan and we named one of our dogs Elloitt, so when i agree its time, its time.

This used to be RB held Dallas hostage once before so time for Jerry & Co. to grow a pair and just look to trade/release Zeke as enough is enough with allowing players and their agents dictate the franchise.

Zeke is not owed any money but he will cost $12 million against the cap if cut. If Dallas makes him a June 1 cut they can spread it out over 2 years. Unless someone is willing to guarantee Zeke more than $6 million a year for multiple years, his best bet is to try to save Dallas cap space by redoing his current deal. Dallas's best bet might be just to absorb the cap hit and find a cheap replacement.

His average in the playoffs was 2.3 ypc, which is also the same as his average over the last 5 games of the season.

Sorry for not giving him the .3 yards.
Oh I see....cherry picked to make him look as BAD as is possible.

Sorry for calling you out and yeah...I'll take those .3 yards.

What was Pollard's in the last 5 games?

get the slot witten, the gimp dak, and zeke the snail and run them in a 40-yard dash. If he comes in 3rd he takes a massive cut.

Okay Steve O, I may not know football but I do know 3.8 yards average (42nd worst in league) and 876 yards on the season (22nd in the league) when I see it. It's not like he didn't have the opportunity either with the 10th most attempts of any back in the league. His longest run of the season was 27 yards ranking him 84th among ball carriers. The one thing he did consistently was to score touchdowns from the goal line after Pollard did the dirty work. If it's o-line and scheme related as you alluded why didn't it affect Pollard who averaged 5.2 yards a carry on less carries for 7th best in the league? Hey look, nobody wants to have Zeke's babies more than me but he's done!
Pollard did "the dirty work" eh?

I'd say blocking for the horrid o-line is "dirty work". They didn't also Tony to do that much heavy lifting.

Also...MANYH of Tony's plays were of different design than Zeke. They would often try to take advantage of Tony's flash by having him toward the outside. MANY of his inside plays either had to bounce out, or get about the same results as Zeke.

I think KM had no interest in a solid NFCE run game.

If you don't see it that way..fine, and I'd stand by my statement.

HAs Zeke declined? Of course. Is he toast? I don't think so. I'd liek to see hiim very much "restructure/paycut". Also like to see him go to a team that values the run game and invests in good O-line.

Zeke’s on the field value does come anywhere remotely close to his cost. Not even 1/2, probably not 1/4. But he does have value.

Look no further than Philly’s 2nd & 2 in the SB before Hurt’s fumble return for a TD. The RB danced instead of powering ahead and was stopped short.

2016 Zeke is no more, but he’ll go somewhere and be an effective back on an incentives laden contract. It just won’t be a big contract. I’d keep him here for that IF he’s not the lead dog.

Sounds like his agents are going to be asking gms what they value him as, and they'll go back to dallas with a paycut around the number they get from teams. Anything over 6mil total cap hit they should let him walk. Vet min plus is prorated sb. He won't accept that so he'll be released at some point

Not cherry picking anything. Zeke has faded down the stretch the last two years. 2021 was heavily due to injury, and who knows this year.

But the point is, he’s playing at a below average level going into, and during, the playoffs.

And the culprit is probably the 6 yr, 1800 carry mark that dooms so many RBs in the NFL.

Improving from that isn’t hard. Only saying goodbye is.

I get it, but I don't think the combine isn't going to tell you something we don't already know.

Zeke is easily replaceable by a back in this years draft.

I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for him, but it's not hard to improve over 2 YPC
It’s like when you put off that book report until the last minute.

Oh really? Zekes AGENTS are to determine his future?

Guess they are again showing who the boss is when it comes to him. It certainly ain’t Jerry.

Publicly smacked around again. Cut him today Jerry.
I know. He took it personal with Coop who never did anything to him, but zeke has been smacking Jerry around and he does nothing. Smh
