Certain posters have an agenda they don’t care about logic or facts.
they only care about the draft. That's it. They seem to think we should trade away our top players for draft picks because hey if we can get 22 1st round draft picks and 22 2nd round draaft picks we can make a superbowl champ. they basically want to create a huge hole so that, that we have to refil in the draft and HOPE the new player is just as good or better than the player we already have. Then they have the nerve to call Jerry a idiot.

Micah was a non-factor against the Bengals, zero tackles, zero sacks. If he doesn't contribute as a DE, he's even less of a LB.
Non factor is a little bit of stretch. He hurried and hit Burrow a few times and drew 3 holding penalties. If Micah doesn't get 3 sacks people think he has no effect on the game apparently. This defense is better with him rather than without.

Move him to the bench and save him for next season. In fact let's play all backups for the rest of the season.

If he knows the run fits, I don't see what the problem is. He has played LB before.

Our 3rd DE is much better than our 3rd LB. The question is do you want Vigil out there or do you want Gholston/Kneeland.

Bengals OL and Burrow are outstanding with discipline in working together. The real issue was our DT were not getting off blocks allowing Burrows to step up and away from edge pressure. Even then he was getting the ball out pretty quick. Their offensive execution looked a lot better than ours. They are penalized so infrequently for a reason.

Maybe he wont be sucking wind on the most important drives now.
He's too small to play defensive end full time. I'm not surprised Zimmer doesn't know that though because his defense is probably the dumbest I've ever seen.

Doesnt matter, Zimmer has 4 games left and then his arse is out the door along with Fat Mike.
Big Mike may still be around for another year. I could care less about whether big Mike goes or stays. The real question is who would replace him? Ben Johnson is not about this foolishness. And besides I don’t know how good Ben Johnson really is. I like his creativity, but I want his Oline coach more than him.

Yes. He was drafted as a MLB that could blitz. Quinn made him one dimensional we he filled in at DE his rookie year.

Go back and look at that Penn st. Bowl game at the death star. He can effect the game all over the field. I hope this is what Zimmer brings out of him. It would also lengthen his career.
He such a strong pass rusher that Quinn just had him rush the pass. I wouldn't say he was one-dimensional as Quinn brought him from everywhere. I expect even if Zimmer plays him on the line, he's going to be "blitzing" on pretty much every down, whether it's a run blitz or pass blitz. Quinn will have one of his more inferior DL drop to make it a four-man rush.

Right, without factoring in our last two first rounders imo look terrible. Imagine trading parsons and drafting another bust.

Overshown made our defense good again. With Parson. Without #13? I'm passing the torch to Troy Jr. My 2nd favorite player. Let's go!!!!!Liufau!!!!!!!

You don't really believe that do you?
Yes, because to be a dominant and factor DE, the sack count has to be relevant, Aidan Hutchinson with 5 games played has better numbers than Micah with 9, Micah is 11 positions below Aidan.

did you watch the game? the man was doubled and tripled team most of the game. you should be asking why didn't anyone else get any pressure on the QB?
Thank you, even with Demarcus coming back we would still have almost Zero pash rush without Parsons on the line. Can we upgrade the whole Dl in the offseason without a 4th round pick and not much cap space I doubt it. I am not sold on Diggs or Bland either on the back end and the safeties are average in my opinion. Bland will be on the last year of his contract so he will probably get extended to on a ridiculous contract also. That does not even factor in the offense. We need another WR , Rb and probably another OL even with Bass an Hoffman showing something but we would have to add depth behind them. 2026 looks bright for cap space but that will dissolve by t he time we star playing in 2025 I am sure or we restructure contracts out further dooming the future years further. I guess i should say rinse spit and repeat and save my breath.

Funny I spelled safeties wrong and the autocorrect had softies, should have used that instead.

The Cowboys are thin at linebacker this season, and that shows with only six players listed on their depth chart. Dallas was thin at linebacker last season as well, and to remedy that this offseason, they signed veterans Eric Kendricks and Nick Vigil, and drafted Marist Liufau in the 3rd round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Here is the list of the linebackers currently under contract for the Dallas Cowboys:

Linebackers who could be gone in 2025:

Nick Vigil

Eric Kendricks

Damone Clark

Buddy Johnson

Due to the fact that he tore his ACL, MCL and PCL in his knee, it’s very possible he is not available in 2025 at all. We may not see Overshown until 2026.
