Regardless of the phrase, that just comes across as incredibly pompous for someone whose opinions are not among the most respected on this forum. In fact, yours generally get panned by a lot of people. He does too lately as he has decided that being a sour puss is manly.

You've got to earn your respect, you don't simply claim it.

I understand that respect is earned and not given. However, when it comes to me people tend to hang on the times I am wrong and do not look at the times when I am right. With that said it is mostly my fault with the way I post and assert things that I say as fact and law. But maybe one day i'll post in such a manner but who knows. As to my post being pompous I'm just confident.
