schottenheimer's offense?...he was o.c. in title only.Kellen Moore was the Cowboys offensive coordinator when the Cowboys had the #1 offense twice in three seasons and under two different head coaches in 2019 and 2021
In 2019 he used rookie Pollard to relieve Zeke Elliott as the Cowboys averaged 4.8 yards a carry. The Cowboys were 178 yards short of having all three receivers with a thousand-yard season.
Of the Cowboys 65 seasons in their history, 2021 is ranked 2nd only to the legendary 1966 team in average points per game with 31.2 points.
As the Cowboys OC in 2024, Schottenheimer's offense is ranked 49th in Cowboys history. He is our new head coach.
Moore was OC for the Chargers in 2023, a season in which both the HC and GM were fired before the end of the season. Obviously, it did nothing to damage his reputation and credentials as the Eagles scooped him right up.
Were they wrong?
Why would Moore not want to coach a team he has already demonstrated proven success?
The answer is obvious.
he didn't even call plays.
this was mccarthy's o all the way.
