I Was Wrong About Kellen The Hammer Moore

Saying that all these players are so stupid they were mesmerized hypnotized and forced?/
somehow Jerry Jones has something on them personally, like blackmail ,and made all these players over the last 30 years sign these huge ridiculously overpaid contracts?
why didn't they walk away they were free that includes will mcclay and a bunch of coaches.. I don't even know where this is coming from, literally Jerry Jones turned down Moore he rejected Kellen Moore and MM... Bill Belichick and Moore both wanted to coach here and Brian schottenheimer got the job and people are upset..
I was a little shocked myself but the coaching staff looks good but now we're talking about players I mean you act like Moore turned down Jerry Jones and that was absolutely false he wanted this job he never got his second interview because Brian schottenheimer stole the job from him good bad or indifferent we won't know till there's some actual data from on the field coaching staff to find out who won this hiring process..

But how this turned into talking about our players this is how ridiculous this place is you start a post about Kellen Moore that there's already four others open and now you have to talk about Jerry Jones and the organization as if you're a Philadelphia Eagles fan maybe you should be you should walk over there and become a fan of them because you for sure are not a fan of the Dallas Cowboys..

This right now it's a lot like we have to talk to mass fans we know you hate the Luca trade most of us do there was a couple of bad trades in the last month probably historically bad by the front office and the GM were really really stupid that tells you this is not just about Jerry Jones lots of organizations do stupid stuff..

But that does not mean you turn on your team you still need to root for the players the players have nothing to do with this you still need to root for your team openly and not try to destroy them along with the old saying don't throw the baby out with the bathwater well sometimes you just have to ignore the organization just so you can root for your favorite team without having alleged fans**** all over them on a daily basis in a place that we're supposed to all be fans instead it feels like I stepped into enemy territory on a daily basis when I come in here..

But don't act like these players know the choices they're making and they're choosing to play for the Dallas Cowboys and there's good reason for it the Dallas Cowboys are still a premier team when it comes to name recognition they're getting paid and yes if you notice some of the post their top 6 to top ten in regular season win percentage and get to at least play for division titles and playoff games that's more than a lot of teams I get it you want to be compared to the top five teams we want better we want to go further in the playoffs we know narrative but that doesn't make this place a bad destination for coaches or players there are far worse places to go in this league where people careers go to die because most of the ones here their careers are not dying they're still winning awards and they're getting paid and that's the bottom line to most of sports now it's about the money.

I mean Prescott's had two opportunities to leave here and he has it why he could have got that money elsewhere he could at least got 55 to $60 million from about 5 other teams you may not like him I don't know what your feelings are but in here he's not a very well received just like Romo two of the better quarterbacks to ever play for the Dallas Cowboys somehow get the most hate but that's where I'm starting if these players felt that this was a bad place to be they've had multiple opportunities to leave and do not do so so why are you calling these players stupid you're calling the fans stupid for wanting one of the players that make it more fun to watch to stay on their teams you're calling us idiots and also wanting them to not hold the team hostage trying to get this historically big non quarterback money i wanna be the next highest paid greed.

There's a fine line between all of this but I got to tell you these posts go off kilter when all you do is bring up the same things on every thread it's like you disguise this as a kellan Moore thread now it's a bast Jerry Jones idiots, Dallas Cowboys fans are idiots, and now calling the players too stupid even though they have agents and they have choices ,they're choosing to stay here and yet you're calling everybody idiots,

maybe you want to look in the mirror.... Maybe it's you and your little gang of Dallas cowboy haters they're the ones who are wasting time you're the ones who should look in the mirror when you're calling other people stupid because if you hate the team so much then why don't you just leave pack up move on delete your account send all your gear to goodwill and let's just let this be a real fan site and not a everyday haters site..
Looks like we are on the same page.

I have been wrong about Kellen Moore. While I disagree with hiring him as a QB coach with zero experience since we were not rebuilding that year, I think it’s obvious “The Hammer” is a great offensive coordinator, especially when he is coaching for a) an elite organization, b) with an elite GM, and c) an owner who is not stepping in front of every camera at every possible opportunity.

Moore deserves his shot at an NFL head coaching job and it will be interesting to see how he does.

I still marvel at the fans that can’t believe he selected any team over Dallas. Why would Moore return to Dallas to be Jerry’s scapegoat assistant TO the head coach (ref: The Office).

I maligned Moore during his tenure under head coach Jones and I was wrong. Consider this my public apology lol.
Like Linehan, Garrett, and McCarthy, Kellen Moore was hamstrung here by the quarterback, who just can't play well in big games against good teams.

yeah if he turns NO around, then break out the annointing oil. i have a hard time seeing it personally. one because the talent just isn't there. and two i don't see him as a leader of men. he seems like a fantastic second in command
Have you ever been subordinate to Kellen Moore’s leadership? If not, you really have no idea what kind of “leader of men” he is. If you’re basing it on facial expression and/or comments to the media take a look at the guy he was just working for.

Questioning Moore’s ability to be a competent head coach is just more Dallas Cowboys fan wishful thinking. Things are bad enough right now without finding out a man the team’s idiot owner sent away turns out to be a better head coach than the one he hired. You’re just hoping for no more heartbreak than you’re already dealing with.

I get it, but I will say it again, we would have moved past the div round of the playoffs with both Romo and Dak IF the defense could make a stop when we absolutely needed it. Rogers 4th and 25? No problem, our defense couldn't make the stop? Romo fumbled FG in Seattle? If only the defense could have forced a 3-and-out we could have had time to get a field goal to win.
The issues go much deeper than who the QB is. Our beloved GM is where all the heat should be, not some QB who can't help if Jerry overpaid him.

I was one of the few who said we'd all regret letting Kellen walk. Now that he's been on a SB winning team, I still stand by that.
Same here. Don’t understand the hate.

I agree and have the same sentiments as you... When JG got fired, I don't think the timing was right for KM to step right in and be a HC. Now that he has a few years behind him as an OC, sure, I'd welcome him here as our HC.

no offense but shutup. you’re projecting and reading into me far more than i am with kellen. 99 pct of the opinions on this board are w/out personal insight. he just seems very meek and mild mannered and i said I DONT SEE. i wish him success, i didn’t want him fired and hold no ill will towards him and am not hoping for his downfall.

i liked him here. he failed in LA where a lot of people expected him to flourish with Herbert. And then he landed with the best OL the best RB two of the best wr's and one of the best te's.

Jury's still out imo and I expect him to flame out in NO
Would not say he failed with Herbert. Stats were very good.

broke his hand/finger and missed the last month of the season.

JG didn’t get fired.

Jerry wanted him as head coach this year and he said no. unbelievable
completely 100% the opposite you all are like completely void of facts Jerry interviewed him on the phone they set up a second informal interview that was supposed to happen between the championship game and the Super bowl but instead Jerry chose Brian schottenheimer and then that interview never happened literally Jerry rejected Kellen Moore that is the actual story you literally think he said no to Jerry no that's the opposite he has said on many occasions he would love to come back here Jerry turned him down Jerry said no..

You all bring in these little arguments like we were turned down by Mike McCarthy and Callum or don't even know the story when it's been there all along Jerry chose not to meet Mike McCarthy's demands because they were ridiculous given how bad that Green Bay playoff loss was followed by another bad season he didn't have that much leverage Jerry chose not to meet them that means Jerry did not want Mike McCarthy back or he would have had him back he could have had Kelly Moore all he had to do was wait for the second interview and he could have hired him on the spot he chose to cancel the second interview,

that means Jerry said no , is IT that hard to understand?

Kellen went to team that had the pieces in place, utilized said pieces and won a superbowl. A good coach SHOULD do that. A crappy coach cant. Its simple.

The Cowboys had three hours to interview Moore virtually and didn't even come close to using all their allotted time, which is what I have read elsewhere.

Probably means there was a mutual agreement that it would not work here. Moore probably didn't want to re-invent himself in Dallas and the Cowboys probably didn't want to force him to try.
