So removing 2 more players that would raise the number of roster spots that need to be filled to 24. Then on top of that you're advocating the Cowboys fall back into the same ugly vicious cycle restructuring contracts that kept them with little or no cap space since the caps was started until Stephen put a stop to that and for the first time the Cowboys have some cap space. It’s a good question but I’m going to wait on any expectations until after FA and the draft. We still don’t even know who’s on this team for 2020. Lots of big defensive holes to fill. We will know a lot more by summer.

McCarthy is an improvement at HC on gameday, but the defense looks like a disaster.

It was pretty meh last year, and this year Byron, Quinn, Bennett, and Collins are likely all gone. With the exception of DLaw, those were our best defensive players last year.

I don’t think they’ll ALL be gone, we COULD get Gregory and Irving back, and there’s the draft and free agency.

IMO, we won’t be worse than 8-8 and we won’t win the SB. The answer lies somewhere in the middle. Can we at least wait until we actually HAD some misfortune?
