None of us can control anything the Cowboys do, so why are you here? You should quit the forum. What is it? What can we control?

The last sentence hits the nail on the head and I ride with the red rocket plus 2 pro bowl defensive players.First off, the big issue is that total player salary is fixed. Every dollar one player gets is less money for others. This year we have watched Quinn and Jones walk just so we could pay Dak, Zeke, Tank and Cooper.
So let's start with your examples. How well did Dallas do once Romo got his big contract? People tend to forget that the first 3 years of Dak's career had Romo's dead contract on it. Romo never won anything because the D sucked when he was here but his contract played a part in that. Will the Eagles ever win anything with Wentz making that much? Will the Rams ever sniff another deep playoff run with Goff making that much money?
At the end of the day, having your QB on a bargain contract is a huge advantage. While its possible to do well with a QB on a big contract, its really hard and you need that guy playing like a superstar. Even then, those superstar QB's tend to get beat by some hot QB on his rookie deal surrounded by a lot of talent.
Dak getting a huge contract makes it harder for Dallas to be a great team. Its that simple.
What's the alternative? Well, Andy Dalton now. Which team is better? Dalton + 2 pro bowl defensive players or Dak + 2 vet min players?
Unfortunately I had to see his post being you replied to him.Lol?!!!!!!! Yeah, Marino sucked too!
You first!None of us can control anything the Cowboys do, so why are you here? You should quit the forum.
You can say that about any subject. However, in this case, there are myriad examples of teams having to let some players walk due to paying some a huge pile. Guess if you try really hard you can ignore facts!!!!!!!!!

I see multiple new threads everyday about the same subject matter-Dak Prescott's contract. The National media seem as obsessed as many on this board. There isn't much to debate:
-Dak team's have accomplished the same level as did Romo, divisional rd of the playoffs. Both QB's have played on talented teams, but haven't been able to breakthrough. Perhaps having an average Head Coach has played a role in their lack of success.
see this is where the disconnect lies. No one cares how much Dak makes in the end. The people complaining are only looking out for the team. I don't wake up every day thinking damn I'm poor and Dak is rich.Idiots worrying about another man's money. We have a lot more important things to worry about right now, but some choose to worry about something that they can't control! Makes me laugh!
As a Marine I know you Army guys are a little dense so close the mouth and listen closely. I have no issue with an objective fan who isn't always crapping on something Cowboys or Dak saying Dak doesn't deserve a big contract. It's the ones that do nothing but ***** and moan ALL the time that I'm calling miserable. And they are.
Small ***** come at everyTakes a small dick marine to insult another veteran regardless of branch.
Stupid post! If you said it, you must have it! Just cause your a vet doesn't give you a pass. PatheticTakes a small dick marine to insult another veteran regardless of branch.
Pull them panties out and quit your whining. You’re embarrassing yourself. Again.Takes a small dick marine to insult another veteran regardless of branch.
People either like to count another persons moneyI see multiple new threads everyday about the same subject matter-Dak Prescott's contract. The National media seem as obsessed as many on this board. There isn't much to debate:
-Ownership has come out and stated Dak Prescott is their franchise QB. He is under contract, team wants to sign him long-term and will not rescind the offer sheet under any circumstance.
-The likes of Goff/Wentz in his QB Class signed long-term extensions. Dak has arguable been as good if not better then the both of them. He will sign a market level contract. Many fans forget the post Aikman years at the position. It's quite comical that many have suggested they rather have Andy Dalton as the team's starting QB.

Don't even know you're ignoring? Well, as you said, keep telling yourself that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!not ignoring anything but keep telling yourself that.
No, that's not it at all, Darth.People either like to count another persons money
Its the way I see it. Cowboys fans seem to get to emotional about players wanting to get paid. Then they justify it by pretending to be some kind of cap expertNo, that's not it at all, Darth.
From what I've seen, that's a very small number of people. Most only care as to how it affects the cap.Its the way I see it. Cowboys fans seem to get to emotional about players wanting to get paid. Then they justify it by pretending to be some kind of cap expert
How can you respect any opinion that is so far removed from reality it makes no sense? Nothing to respect at all. Saying Dak is elite is as dumb as saying Dak is average. Only clowns would analyze either to be true.
So they are either football dumb or just say dumb things to hate.
Has to be one of the two.
And its the job of those on here that understand football to correct those that spew garbage.
Because too many people have become overly concerned with playing internet GM. They are seemingly terrified of paying any player top dollar and don’t want to spend anything unless it is a either a rookie, incentive based, vet minimum, or team friendly contract. They are more concerned with the salary cap than having talent on the field.I see multiple new threads everyday about the same subject matter-Dak Prescott's contract.
