I do know and you know who knows more than the guy on a football forum with 63,000 messages? The coaches who seem to agree with me.

Crawford is still on the team because he can be a quality starter if need be and because what he provides in terms of depth in a season like this. Had they listened to people who think they know like you (who actually don’t) he would have been cut and our situation today would be much more bleak.

Had they listened to me, they wouldn't have WASTED $10 million of cap space LAST YEAR on a backup player. But you go right ahead and check your brain at the door. Whatever Cowboys do = great there SuperFan.

btw nice job avoiding my question, so I’ll ask again- what moves did Crawford’s salary prevent us from this Offseason? ( widely regarded as our best in a long time) and what does it limit us from next offseason? Please enlighten us with your false bravado and knowledge oh mighty one.....,

Let me get this straight, you're asking me about roster moves that never took place?

That's hilarious! I'm clearly dealing with an 'intellectual' here...

Looks like he's the de facto starting 3-technique now. I'd rather have an overpaid Tyrone Crawford at that spot than Trysten Hill any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

The Dak excuse train is getting off to a good start, last year it was coaching, this year it'll be injuries.

Dak didn't need an excuse last year when he tore up the league.

Crazy that you have so little going on up there you have try to turn it into a Dak thread. I'm embarrassed for you.

Also since Jerry Jones bought the franchise they've won 3 Super Bowls and are currently the most valuable sports franchise in the world. Sure Jerry has had some rough times but I think he's doing alright. Injuries to the team hurt the fans more than they hurt Jones.
I don't know, man. He's probably floating out on the ocean somewhere in that tub of a boat regretting his life choices.

Wow. Looks like when we pull back the layers and ask you to actually articulate your thoughts on what they should have done with Crawford’s money had they cut/released him there’s not much there for an answer (shocker). You said he’s wildly overpaid so since his money is such an issue-(you said it was) please explain how it stopped us from doing anything we wanted to do.

Multiple people ,scouts, analysts, writers, players have talked and or written about how Crawford frees up and takes on a lot of junk for d law and others to get the qb and make big plays. You can even see that with the eye test when you watch the game and or film. Crawford is a good not great player who never produced or developed like we all thought or wanted but he makes the game easier by Doing the small things that lead to big plays.

Lastly, Im far from a homer. this team has made several blunders cap wise and has been the definition of mediocre for far far too long. They have sucked big time when it’s counted over the years- no argument there. That’s a low hanging fruit argument someone like you says when another person doesn’t agree or challenges their opinion.

You're probably unaware (clearly a pattern) but money saved can be rolled over to next year. A year where the cap is expected to be negatively impacted by the lack of fans.

You're welcome for that additional bit of knowledge.

You pay 'dirty work' grunts middling money. Not more than three of your four starters COMBINED. Neither you nor anyone else is going to justify that.

What's to "challenge"? I've said the guy is grossly overpaid, make the case for why he isn't.

32 year old lineman that didn’t have NFL offseason strength and conditioning program. There are obviously no guarantees it would have mattered but this is going to happen a lot this year.

Fortunately Poe is the bigger addition of the 2 DTs this year.

McCoy is needed more than Poe. Pass rush DTs was already the biggest hole on the team. Just got a lot worse.

McCoy was replacing our 3T starter. Poe was upgrading our 1T starter. So much worse to have McCoy go down.

And is Poe even playing yet? Last I heard he was on PUP.

This sucks.....I like McCoy, but I was weary of him getting injured because of his age.

injuries happen, lets just hope this is the only one!
MM should deal with this better than what JG would have done, so lets wait until actual games start and see.
