News: Zeke on talk of Pollard being a starter

In the last two weeks Pollard has 20 carries for 41 yards, plus a 40 yard run that was helped by poor tackling. And from that fans here were claiming he was better than Zeke.

Doesn’t make Zeke any better. Zeke had a big game today and that is him just getting over 100’yards. He is supposed to be elite.

I had Zeke for 4 broken tackles today. Maybe 5.. We will see what the final tally is but dude balled today. The week off did him good..

What I liked most was how even with the defense coming after him hard he kept churning out 3-4 yards a clip and kept us ahead of the chains.. That made the play action lethal as it turned out to be. Then late in the game when the defense had had just about enough of him.. he started really breaking off some big runs..

I haven't seen anyone who hates Pollard and I would go far enough to say he could be an RB1. I just don't think he would hold up over the long term and I also think the claims he is better than Zeke are absurd.

Better no more explosive yes but over the long haul his durability could be a question

Yeah, our line didn’t deplete that much from 2016 to 2017 when the 20% reduction in efficiency occurred. And Morris started the 3 games that year when the offensive line was at its worse.

I'd love for Zeke to just play well and justify the contract he earned. When that doesnt happen over the course of a season its a problem. Dont need to hear any excuses about the OL, Dalton doesnt have a problem performing with a back up O-line.

You mean the year where he was suspended 6 games, & would’ve won the rushing title had he not been suspended? Counting only the weeks he played, he led the league in rushing.
