Always interesting how some fans bash Troy when his opinions don’t align with theirs. Like somehow we should follow an anonymous yahoo on a fan forum over Troy. Lol
no moreso than those who hang on his every word like when he said dak wasn't an accurate passer and accuracy couldn't be taught. i liked troy the qb more than romo the qb. but i like romo the analyst far more than troy the analyst. romo is a far larger personality than troy. but i respect that romo doesn't go around bashing the cowboys or other players. then again, i don't have an agenda. and i don't troll.

I attribute the Cowboys turnaround to Nolan being on the hot seat and Dalton getting more time in throwing to the WRs. Zeke finally was rested and put on the spot with Pollards performance. The oline managed to finally get in the way of someone.
brilliant game play by kellen moore. he's got andy getting rid of the ball fast. 3 outstanding wr's and an excellent te help. but zeke still has to move the chains. hope he continues like he did against the eagles.

I hate it when he calls our games. I've learned to tune him out, but for the longest time it seems he bent over backward trying to not praise the Cowboys for ANYthing. It was embarrassing.
the criticism is fine when he's calling games. you can see what he's talking about as the game progresses. he just lacks romo's flair. no big deal. but it's his comments when on talk shows, etc. that i don't care for. he owes jerry a lot. but you'd never know it.

Not if it isn't balanced with credit.
He's gotten a little bit better over the years. I remember many TD's Troy would just go silent...very obvious he didn't want attach any praise.

Eli Manning played out of his mind in the playoffs when they won the SB in the 9-7 season

Turnaround??? we played 3 bottom feeder teams with backup qbs
Yep and with our entire starting roster intact.

And we were a bottom feeder ourselves this year.

I don't think we know just how hard it was for them to turn that ship into the wind. Doesn't matter who they were playing, only how they played. They played hard and with heart which is all we can ask of them.

I know we beat teams with losing records but the teams we've beat have been playing better than what their record indicate recently.

Bengals just beat the Steelers and Texans after losing to us.
Forty Niners just beat the Cardinals after losing to us.
The Eagles beat the Saints two weeks ago and went to the wire with the Cards before playing us.

Let's hope the Eagles follow the trend and win their game after losing to us.
Not to mention that we have been in some games against some tough teams.

Not to change the subject (well okay I am) Pollard is the key to this game. The Giants have a very good defense, with Zeke playing last week, and playing fairly well, the Giants will be keying on Zeke. So he won't get to do much.
Pollard will need to be very involved in the game plan, mostly in the passing game, to loosen up and confuse/fool the Giants defense.

I'm not too worried about the Giants' offense, with Jones not having a real good year and missing some games, but you never know. A couple of ints, key stops on 3rd down and a few sacks should get Dallas the win....

What does Aikman owe Booger? He lied about Aikman retiring and Aikman was visibly pissed about that. He's seen the ineptitude of the Joneses for many years and was there to see it first hand when the Johnson relationship fell apart.

As far as color guys doing games, I don't like any of them and do not get the need for repeaters. Romo's approach might seem new but do we think that a lot of those color guys don't know what play is coming? They've got all the film plus they attend practice during the week and are privy to details.

I wish they'd go back to just the play-by-play announcer and cut the mindless and repetitive chatter back. They just won't shut up! And please, ohhh please, someone hire motor mouthed Riddick as a GM, please!

aikman should have retired earlier. he was stinking up the place. most of his bad mouthing of jerry was to defend his buddy garrett. i can only speak for myself and how i conduct business, but i consider it highly inappropriate to diss the guy every chance aikman gets, and then call a cowboy game on the network claiming his impartiality. imo, aikman is a hypocrit. as for romo, he's already changed from predicting every play in advance to just analyzing the game as it goes on. and he does it far better than aikman ever did. of course, that's just my opinion. ps.....happy new years. stay safe.

You talk like we're not playing with backups, what do you fools smoke at night that cloud your thinking.

True, but were still only beating bottom feeders with 2nd and 3rd string backups. Cowboys had the easiest schedule in the 2nd half and that was made even easier by starting QB's getting injured before we played them and with teams like Washington and Giants who only needed to win one more game.
