Kirk's best year was about the same as Daks. Kirk was in his 4th or 5th year before he was even starting consistently and putting up numbers. Dak began day one. Meaning he had to learn on the fly while Kirk held a clipboard and adjusted to life in the NFL.Had Dak finished last year we wouldn't even entertain this. Kirk isn't a bad QB, but he's simply not as good as Dak.

Kazee was always my choice over Hooker. Hooker never met expectations while Kazee, as a late round pick, exceeded them.

Kazee can play both safety and nickel corner and has the cover skills our other safeties lack. No, he's not a star, but if healthy he'd be an upgrade. I hope he doesn't slip through the Cowboys' fingers.

There is a good chance that those teams will not have have a good qb in the next 2 years going forward and a very good chance that they will have a different qb 2 years from now and the new guy won't be good. It is a big advantage for the Cowboys to have Dak under contract and a very good chance that he will be a top qb in the NFC going forward.
