that was years ago

Not opposed to addressing OL but I don't expect to see 4 out of 5 OL go down and then have backup OT go down. I do know this defense was not only bad it was historically bad, Dallas has never given up the run as they did last year dating back to the inception of the team. We have holes in the secondary that must be addressed. I understand the importance of OL but at this point I would much rather see this team make a real push to get this defense playing to a much higher level.

I would not frown on that at all. This is a much deeper OL class especially at OT, so if Dallas can get top defensive prospect I think they have to move on getting them and address OL later in the draft where they should still be some quality prospects

Calling TE "weak" is a little much.

Id in fact call it a lower end strength.

ok
I see it as average at best but hopefully ur right. Depends how Jarwin does after injury. With a good TE we wouldnt grab Pitts if he falls. I think this team takes him

Ok I know it is early, but I figure the draft will only give team 1 or 2 starters at most.
So what is the minimum season record you would accept as a step forward over last season?
I will say 10-7 , that would be a distinct improvement over last season.
Anything less I would have to consider a failure by coaches , FO , and players, and Dak.

Now 10-7 may get team into playoffs, and it may not, so I am not going to say they have to make playoffs,
but I do sort of expect that they should .
The thing is winning the division may be the only way a east team gets in playoffs, but one of the east teams
may have a good season, and do better than 10-7. You cant count on them being as bad as last season.

NFCE GAMES 4-2

17th game 0-1 by this would put them at 10-7 , if 16 games then 10-6
Dallas would have to be real good team to do better than 10 wins.
I gave a loss on the last game as people here are saying it would be NE, and dallas has
always done poorly in the last game of season.
But that could be another win just as easily, if they are improved, so I could see 11 wins too.
So I will change that to 10 or 11 wins as my minimum expectation.

Anything over that would be more than I expect
And on further thought, I think making the playoffs , as WC or div champ has to be included, unless
one of the other east teams just has a great season, and dallas doesnt get in as WC.
10-11 wins should get dallas in as a WC though?
Don't embarrass ourselves?

Schedule looks like the weakest one since 2016s weak one on paper. I expect at least 7 wins. Just hoping for a good season. tbh 5 in the last 25 years is just ridiculous.

If we stay healthy pretty decent. We almost won the division with a bunch of crap last year.

If Schultz continues his rise, and there's no reason he wouldn't, TE is a strength.

Thanks for asking, govnor.
I expect 11-6.
NO EXCUSES FOR THIS WELL-APPOINTED TEAM. NO EXCUSES FOR OUR $40 MILLION QB!
ANYTHING LESS IS A FLOP IN OUR LONG ROAD OF PENANCE UNDER JERRY.

Our 40 mil QB couldn't get us to the playoffs in his last full season in the worst division in football. Our RB is done. Jerry will entrust Quinn to turn trash into diamonds. Kellen is still Kellen. Maybe fat Mike watched some videos on how to challenge a play during the offseason. I see an improved defense simply because we can't get worse, but I don't expect playoffs.

But I still think they might win enough to make the playoffs.

This team in this division should win 10 games if they remain healthy.

Highest paid QB in NFC should lead his team to a SB this year

any lower expectation by fans is stupidity

There will be excuses like every year before it. They need time to adjust to a new DC, Dak needs to shake off the "rust", It's Mike's fault, They need to get used to crowd noise again, So and so is injured, etc, etc, etc.

I would have to say your comment is the stupid one lol.
Daks new salary does not make him any better than before, and he couldnt get past div round before so more pay isnt going to make him better.
Rodgers is one of the best qb's in the league, and he could never get his team back to a SB in a ten year period, most of that with
the same bozo HC dallas hired. To me MM is the barry switzer of GB ! lol

Dallas does not have a SB organization, FO, GM, Coaches, or defense, so to expect a SB is kinda dumb.
