he only had 240+ rushes. Same number as 2017, when he only played in 10 games.
Dallas struggled to run in 6 games last season.
expecting him to run behind that OL last year was asking a lot.
Even if we give Elliott a pass for last season look at his rushing yards starting as a rookie and see how every year they go down. He peaked as a rookie and has gone down every year since. 2016 rookie year he had 1,631 yards, 2017 was his suspension year and had 983, 2018 he had 1,434 which is less than 1,631, 2019 he had 1,357 which is less than 1,434, 2020 he had 979 which is less than both 1,357 and the 983 for ten games. EVERY GM in the league also knows those numbers too.
