Anyone with half a brain understood that he was injured during that game and could barely go. Of course, there are a lot on here who appear to be functioning on less than half a brain.

I shudder to imagine how small a person's mind must be to go out of his way to complain about a player not talking trash. Then to extrapolate it to how good a player is? Priceless.

I agree. Cooper is ranked as one of the top WR in the league. I also know him being on the field helps the other 2 WR in terms of coverages opposing teams use. There is 1 football and 3 very good WR on this team. As Aikman said about Cooper, if you have him one on one I like my chances but if defense is sliding help to that side well I have 2 other WR that can make you pay for doing that. No doubt Cooper has been dealing with foot issues dating back to the Raiders right now I just hope that the procedure he had this off season can help him out but his lack of trash talking means absolutely nothing

Translation: The Eagles player thought Coop was a whimp or weakling because he had nothing to say. But Coop telling this story says otherwise. Amari Cooper is not a trash talker, winning or losing. He's just a professional football player.

I think the surgery he had was ankle cleanup (bone spurs I think) similar to what Emmitt had in '97 I think. It's pretty common for guys who make thousands of high speed cuts on carpeted concrete to have pretty tore up ankles. I believe Cooper's long term issue has been the plantar fascia and short of removing it there isn't really much that can be done about it. I think he said he has dealt with it since college.. so it's a pretty good bet that it's going to get inflamed at least a couple of times every year for the rest of his life. The only question is whether it gets bad enough that he can't play on it. At home or in warm climates he has been fine.. but when it gets cold and that thing starts to act up it's going to hurt like hell and it's going to be difficult for him to be himself on the field. But his presence can still open things up for the other guys so it's still worth it for him to trot out there even if he's physically compromised to some degree. Maybe this year CD steps up to that next level and Cooper will not be asked to play through so much crap anymore. At least we can hope..
