Actually it has been a question in my mind forever. Why world series when the world is not playing. Same for world champs in football. Last I checked there is an entire world outside of the US. True world championships are played between countries. Soccer world cup winners can say they are world champions. So can the cricket world champions as well as Rugby. But cities competing against each other can not be world champions. Almost seems a bit arrogant. Maybe I am reading in to it too much but was meant to be a light hearted comment.

Defense came to play and are much improved. Love what I was seeing tonight.

zeurline was bad...but Kellen wasn't that good last night. a lot of fault for this game lies with him and his game management.

Agree with everything the OP said, but other things that we build on even more from here is we have some players on IR and covid list that will be coming back, and in yesterday's game one of them was Zack Martin.
This defense will only get better.
Now they have game film they can use to find and fix their weaknesses

I was not expecting to win but from the start of the game I thought we had a shot. Then the missed FG. I told my wife we will lose by 3 or less. That FG would cost us the game.

It was amazing. I know we're 0-1, but I'm proud of the Cowboys! To go toe to toe with the World Champs and the Goat, and the fact we came so close to beating them on the road, that was incredible!! Oh, and you know you have an elite QB when Tom Brady goes looking for him to congratulate him on a game well played. Also, you know you have an elite QB when Brady's first comments after the game are about how great your QB is. Brady did both of those with Dak. For those that somehow still rip on Dak, Brady knows a little bit more about great QB play than you do. Also, Bruce Arians was gushing over Dak in the press conference after the game.

Both Brady and BB gushed over Romo as well. How many rings did he retire with? I see the SAME thing happening to Dak. A great career and NO RINGS. Bottom line is we lost the game.
