That is hard to define. There might be more to it than just Dak not playing well.

But....it is pretty universal that if a team can't throw the ball....you simply gang up on the run.

A good TEAM is then supposed to burn you on the pass. Which opens up the run. So it's a synergy....that apparently isn;t always synced.

I knew that a bad game or struggle game was eventually going to show up after the winning streak the Cowboys had, just because it's so difficult for a NFL team to be on their A game for 16 or 17 games in a row, which is why it's so rare to see an NFL team finish undefeated or only with 1 loss on in the regular season. Denver was a bad loss, there's no denying that. But no Cowboys fans should be acting like the season is over with or that the goals the Cowboys have to get into the playoffs and win the Super Bowl, aren't still within reach.

Dak has had some bad games but he has never been a quitter like Romo in the 44-6 Eagles debacle. Also Dak would never say "If that's the worst thing that ever happen's to me, I've led a good life" right after that Eagles loss. Dak always takes responsibility for his actions.
