I feel like everyone here is trying to shut up realists

This whole thread is why I didn't log on this morning.

Everybody associated with the Cowboys sucked yesterday with very few exceptions. When that happens, the fan base generally follows suit and sucks, too. We start picking at each other and assigning categories and names to each other. We start proclaiming who is a fan, and who is not, based on whether or not they like the same players we like...or dislike the same players we dislike. It's as predictable as the sun coming up.

So, I waited until the sting of the disheartening loss wasn't so fresh to log on.

I don't hate any of you. I don't listen to anyone who talks ugly for the sake of talking ugly, but I can't say that my opinion on any one player is any better than yours. I just wouldn't watch the game with a bunch of you because it wouldn't be any fun. LOL

I hate watching the game with some fans also. Cursing at the TV and throwing things at the TV is not likable, IMO.

I knew a guy who went to jail for fighting with his wife after he broke the TV.

Nobody here hates Dak.

Nobody here wants him to fail. If he fails we fail. Some of us just want to see winning football. However anytime we call Dak out, people come out of the woodwork to call us stupid or whatever. We are realists. I am going to judge my QB after a win AND after a loss. He got payed and part of the job is having fans saying what they think even if the team doesn't care.

If we win next week? I'll be all for dak. However yesterday? He **** the bed. I don't get why this is an argument

Wait ... are you saying in a 30-16 loss where we didn't score until late in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach that the quarterback played poorly? You obviously don't know anything about football and are out of touch with reality. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that you are a hater.

With the Packers and Rams losing as well, Cowboys haven't really lost ground in terms of homefield advantage at all.

We haven't, but that's our mulligan. Those teams aren't going to be losing to 4-4 teams often.

In many years, I've found that some fans not only cannot take criticism of the Cowboys, but they even regard it as an act of sports treason. They interpret someone pointing out that Dallas has flaws, as rooting AGAINST Dallas.

I will never understand that logic.

It's not an argument.. We all watched the game.. so we know he played like **** yesterday. However he was hardly alone.. Conservatively I would say the drops cost him at least 60 yards yesterday and every one of them would have resulted in a first down so those drives would have continued and maybe given the team a shot in the arm.. Dak included. Dak also had nothing to do with the defense getting run over or allowing Tim Patrick (who?) to look like Megatron.. Where people are at odds with you "realists" is when you attempt to hang that entire putrid team performance around Dak's neck or act as if after balling out really for the last 10 or 11 games dating back to last year THIS ONE is the game that shows "the real him." Dak has put up a 100+ passer rating in 7 of the last 11 games he has started and finished .. He has been over 90 in 9 of those.. Sorry but that's great QB play.. So YES he played like absolute horse crap yesterday.. But this is not his norm .. so any attempt to come with a "see I told ya this is who he is" is bound to be met with appropriate derision. But not to worry.. Dak will probably get back to being a 110 passer rating QB next week and all you "realists" will have to crawl back into the woodwork.

These so called "realists" like hiding behind that word. LOL

To some fans the cowboys are "Family" lol and saying bad things about them is like saying bad things about their kids or wife etc even their dog lol.
They dont like it when you critique their family.
They "adopt " certain players into their family too, so dont attack those players !
Dak has been adopted by many here, so has elliot, CD etc.

I saw that too. KM should of gone to a short passing game when he saw how the oline was playing.
