Does anybody really think we won't suffer an early injury on our D Line? D Law is due for something new....or Gregory pulls a hammie, etc.

Unfortunately, that has been this teams history.....every time things look promising, there’s either injury’s or suspensions or other setbacks.......can’t wait to see what role the refs are gonna play this game.

They don’t merely want to Facilitate the game any longer, they want to be factors in it.

The WFT only chance to beat us is by rushing the football and you want LVE and Neal on the field.:laugh:
We give up the 4th most passing yards per game this year.

How many loses and failures is it going to take before some of you realize that this team is not some kind of juggernaut?

An injured WR threw for 265 yards against us.

I think Micah was using a metaphor.

Like saying two good looking people should be good together “on paper” but there’s more to it than that.

Just like “on paper” him, Lawrence and Gregory should be great in the front 7. But they gotta still do the work to make sure everything fits.

You will soon have to pay Micah if you use the following phrase.

Then I'm going to trademark "The Lion is always Hangry".

I can take payment via PayPal and Venmo. No personal checks.

If that’s the case I want Parsons doing two things:

  1. Blitz; and
  2. Nullify A. Gibson; spy him like a QB and squelch out the screen game similar to what he did in the Vikings game

Half of that passing yards came when it was 27-10. You conveniently left off the 4 interceptions. Hill ran for 100 yards when the game was still in balance. We need Minnesota Parsons not Kansas City Parsons against the WFT.

You are so stubborn. Okay, I'm going to be watching for that and taking notes. We can compare notes after the game. ;)
I am curious is know if these folks predicting where and when Parsons and other defensive players are going to play, were part of the coaches meetings this week. Sorry about the long sentence.

Ahh..

I was like, get this man’s vision checked stat, because if he’s playing this good with bad vision, imagine the damage he would do with 20/20..

Don't see why the Cowboys would feel need to truthfully broadcast intentions.

Then again...Jerry.
Not that Jerry isn't capable of saying too much or speaking when he shouldn't, but in fairness it wasn't Jerry that was cited as the source of this info. Besides, it's not really a secret that having Lawrence and Gregory back will naturally cut into some of Parson's time at DE. I expect we will still see him rushing the QB on a number of occasions.

Lets see what they do.

I better never hear these coaches talk about lack of pressure on the QB if Parsons is barely rushing the passer.

You have a phenom pass rusher and your asking him to go do this little side trick that’s kinda cool.

This didn't say he would barely be used rushing the passer, it basically just said he would play more LB than DE. My guess is that we will see plenty of him rushing the passer on passing downs, either blitzing from LB or moving to DE.

Parsons, Tank and Gregory all need to be rushing the passer. If it's 2nd and long or 3rd and medium or 3rd and long or 4th and anything and Parsons isn't lined up near the LOS and rushing the passer, if Parsons is dropped into coverage..... Quinn needs to be FIRED immediately.

Belichick and Parcells played LT at linebacker. You guys are just complaining to complain, like usual. You do know linebackers blitz correct?
If Parsons rushes the passer at then same rate or even more Sunday that he has been in the past then I'll say I was wrong.

You have more faith in this organization to do what's best than I do.

The Cowboys need a LB who see plays develop and reacts quickly. They need guys who hit the hole as the RB gets there. If that is Parsons, then fine, play him at LB. It is definitely not LVE.

Yes, they played base 3-4. Lawrence Taylor was an OLB meant he was a nearly every down pass rusher. They did NOT use LT as an inside linebacker dropping into coverage... never ever.

McCarthy prefers base 3-4 and will probably hire someone like Dom Capers if Quinn doesn't pan out. Quinn prefers a 4-3 base cover 3 zone press with cover 1 robber mixed in, we saw that in Seattle and Atlanta.
