The fans are more sour on Dak than they were Quincy Carter. I’ve never seen a fan base turn against a player like they have Dak. Even when he was playing his best football most Cowboys fans were luke warm on him but after his play the second half of the season and in the playoffs it’s been nothing but Dak HATE. It’s not just on this board it’s everywhere on social media. Never seen anything like it. The entire blame for the playoff loss has been put on him. If fans are looking for encouragement heading into the 2022 season you’re not going find it here.
I don't hate Dak. I think he is a very serviceable QB. We suffer from poor game planning and coaching of Dak. I think is not getting taught properly, play calling/design is bad, and no run game. I also don't think he is worth what he is being paid, but kudos to Dak for getting it from Jerruh.

It works with any QB who's consistently good. In 5 years, Mahomes has 10 GWD's. In 8 years Carr has 30. Why? Because Mahomes often has the game wrapped up by that point. In 14 years as starter Aaron Rodgers only has 27. Is that really indicative of anything?
He's 52-32. Seems like almost half his games have presented opportunities for a comeback. As for Carr, he's played on a team with far less talent in a much better division. He's also played for 5 different HCs in 8 years...basically he's had to learn a new offense every other season!

If we're honest, at this point in time, all 8 of the divisional round QBs > Dak.

The team around him didn’t step up. We have major issues on the OL. He’ll never bounce back if we can’t run the ball and pass protect. The coaching continues to be terrible. With the number of players we’re going to lose in free agency 2022 could be a rough season. Jerry has some real issues on his hands.

Changing the goal post now, huh?

He showed you proof and proved you wrong.

Own it, learn from it, be better, not bitter.
Grown folks are talking.......you need to address what I asked you earlier...do you not remember saying this?

I like Dak. I think he's playing great.

I do not like Rocky at all though.
Answer the question sir....

For the 3rd time:

The "I like Dak" part was before his true colors came out with the "bandwagon fans" comment when he was getting criticized for playing bad and then him condoning violence against the officials.

The one thing he had going for him, his likeability, is now gone.

Also, he was playing great at the time. All you're doing is showing that I am a straight shooter when it comes to Dak. I praise him when he's playing good and criticize him when he plays bad.

So, weirdly enough, thank you for digging that post out to show others that I call em how I see em. Because I would have never took the time to do it myself.

And because you have horrible reading comprehension... I know that I said that months ago.

And maybe those are reasons he’s not as impressive as other QBs. Do we rate him on purely on hypothetical? What is Dak Prescott on the Chiefs? What is Derek Carr on The Jaguars?

It’s not entirely fair, but he is what he’s made of himself in Oakland/LV

So your player evaluation was WRONG then? You said you like Dak? Now you don't because...he said something against the officials? HAHAHAHAHHH...

I think he’s means like as a person and not as his official evaluation as Dak as a QB. Not sure though, it’s a little all over the place

I guess it's all about what's more impressive to you? Taking a roster full of jags to the playoffs after a mid season coaching change, in an extremely competitive division and losing, or taking our roster to the playoffs in a horrible division, and looking like a team full of jags and losing.

Dak showed himself to be classless when I thought he had some class about him. I was wrong about him and who he is.

I evolve my thoughts and opinions when new evidence is presented while you're stuck in the same old arguments all the time with the same tired opinions.

So your evaluation was wrong so why are you in here bragging about how superior your player evaluations are?

My evaluations of his skill was not wrong. I said he is playing great. Which he was at the time. Then he regressed back to what he always is.

He will always revert himself back to that 4th rounder though.

Evolve or keep getting left behind.

Man, you really are dense, huh?

I'm not going keep going on with you about this. I feel like I'm losing brain cells trying to educate you. That's not for me to do.

Buh bye.

Only looked up select threads that you'd expect posts like this in, there are many many more. These are all regular members here with 1000's of posts, no drivebys

Dak was an elite QB for 7 games earlier in the year. He was being considered for MVP by many people in the sports world. But as new data came in, some of us adjusted out thinking. Which is being honest.

But this is exactly why I have always said Jerry should not have given him $40 million. We have not seen Dak be an elite QB worthy of elite money for an entire season. Dak showed once again this year that he fades during the tough part of the schedule.

This is not to say Dak is a bad QB. He is a good QB, just not an elite QB. His contract does not change his ability. It just changes our expectations of him.

You are posting comments not made at the end of the season but when he was playing elite football.

100% correct.

Halfway through the season Dak was the MVP favorite.

At that time Dak was playing elite.

It’s unfortunate that he wasn’t able to sustain that elite level of play, but that can happen to QB’s from time to time. Carson Wentz is an obvious example.

QB’s are ultimately defined by their playoff performance.

I used to think we could win a title with Dak but sadly admit now that I was wrong.

You mean some QB's are, and then its pick and choose the playoff game you want to use....See example of exscuses for other losing QB's in this years playoffs.
