Give up my man, Russell Wilson had 40 TD's in 2020, and over a 100 passer rating, The guy is a great great QB and all of us who know the game know this , ok?

Hopefully this isn't a Dak vs Wilson thing, that would be silly.

Dak supporting his coaches says he's a good soldier who isn't going to throw his coaches under the bus publicly. + Just like his saying he was 100% physically when all of us could see that his body wasn't right after the calf injury was him being a good soldier. He's not wired that way.. at least not yet. He is not the first QB to believe in his coaches even as the coaches showed themselves to be less than great. Anybody remember all the press conferences where Romo threw Garrett under the bus? Yeah, me neither. Do any us of really want Dak making the talk show rounds demanding that Moore and/or McCarthy be shown the door? People complain about this thing being a circus now.. Can you imagine how that would play out? Whatever is wrong with the offense we need everybody to go into the lab and fix it. Though frankly the #1 thing they need to do is fix the o-line and most of the other problems go away. But there are other issues.. and some of them fall on Dak.. His issues are the ones I worry about the least.. because I KNOW he will put in the work to fix them. And eventually he will do to Moore what Romo did to Garrett. He will go no huddle and call his own plays more and more. As long as he stays healthy I expect the Dak from the first half of the season to be Dak all year. If he is able to give us that level of play all season then I will be satisfied with HIS portion. Now if only the rest of the team could join him playing at a top 5 level.. Then we got somethin.

yeah I agree, except he could have just said no comment on that question and let people wonder.
If I had a OC I wasnt thrilled about, I just would not comment on anything to do with him.

Wilson has had three seasons of....

4000 passer yards
over 30 passing TD's
over 500 yards rushing

Who else does that?

Wilson had a great 2020, just like the rest of his Hall of Fame career.

Dak's play sunk after a Week 6 calf injury, but his struggles ran deeper than the injury. "I wouldn't say it lingered as long as people gave me the excuse of it," Prescott said on The Rich Eisen Show during Super Bowl week. "I went through a period of time during the season where I just didn't play my best ball."

After Prescott's fast start to the season, his inaccuracy and tentative play made for one of the most inexplicable stories in the entire league. He still mixed in enough boffo games to finish with strong stats, but the bar is higher for Prescott, considering his teammates.

Damn... this is going to mess up the weak *** arguments for the Dak hatin cowards who pretend to know football and only show up after losses..... There have been HOF players, coaches and GMs who've said that Dak is a top 10 QB in this league. My eyes agree. Now who should we believe, HOFers or a few Dak hatin weaklings who are clueless???

Lol..i gave you Russ himself explaining his struggles , either you didnt read it. Or you just want to argue stats. You haven't grasp the concept yet that Russell Wilson struggled the last half of the season and through this season. Stop being dumb and go back and watch his games. Not post numbers.
Dak has the same numbers, yet he struggled the last half of the season. I just gave you everything you need to verify he struggled. What part of that you don't understand. Stop just looking at numbers.

I believe Dak is better suited to be rated at number 12, rather than number 9.

Of course, that is something greatly likely to be a matter of personal opinion.

My personal feeling is that Wilson, Carr and Tannehill are more qualified.

Sure it does.

When you only play well against bad teams then you start to gain a reputation. Dak has secured that reputation for now.

Using Stafford, who led his team to a Super Bowl win, as a defense of Dak makes zero sense. Every QB plays bad teams every year. The top QBs play well consistently against all teams. Dak does not do that.

We won't know if Jimmy is correct until Dak gets great talent around him. You know.. like and actual good defense and a line that works well as a unit and not one that gets great PFF grades despite allowing 2 and 3 defenders to run free into the backfield on most plays. And I don't even need to look it up to know that Dak has somehow helped his team carve out a winning record over the last 3 seasons despite a BUNCH of people telling us that Zeke sucks. Then there is also a large contingent that insists that Amari Cooper and CD Lamb are also vastly overrated.. but again.. guy finishes top 3 in the league in passer rating.. and wins 12 games.. all while dealing with a variety of his own injuries as well as with a revolving door on the line in front of him.

As for Dez's input.. Both you and he probably know that 90% of Dez's catches from Romo came when he was covered right? Do I have to explain to you the irony of wanting a guy who frequently threw into coverage to "train" Dak on reading coverages? I love Dez.. but I don't want Gunslinging Tony anywhere near Dak ..

Maybe he is.. but last year he wasn't. Blame the injury, blame his team, blame whoever you like but last year even with the 10 game "slump" Dak played better. And this coming from a guy who absolutely LOVE's Russ' game, have followed him since we was and NC State and Wisconsin, and up until 2021 would have also ranked him ahead of Dak. Dak either passed him outright or at the very least caught up last year. We will see how things shake out going forward but I have no issue with stating that in 2021 Dak was the better of the two.

I don't want Dak or Romo anywhere near anyone. I'd prefer Dak go the Romo route and find another job.
