Not really. The only person they can identify at the scene is Joseph. The police have seen all the camera evidence that they have. Persons of interest does not mean you are the suspect. The police want to talk to Joseph because he was a witness. If your boy shoots someone at a club. You are not a murderer because you were with him. It is not armed robbery or a bank hiest were Joseph is the get away driver. His lawyer would eat that up in court.
You couldn’t be more wrong, but alright. This is 2022 — there are millions of rolling cameras everywhere you go. Whoever entered that SUV will be identified, and if nobody wants to snitch, they’ll all be charged. It’s how the justice system works.

If even one of the guys in his posse flips and cooperates with the police and puts him in that SUV, his football career is over. Not to mention a likely long jail sentence.

Better yet one guy in his group has issues, THEY ALL HAVE ISSUES and will defend that friend!!!! Guilty

all they have to do is get joseph's phone records and see if he was in the area at the time of the incident

I think it's clear that he was there. His involvement beyond that is in question.

Not really. It has multiple meanings. A person of interest can simply be someone who might have information about a crime. Being a high-profile football player, he was likely one person who could be identified by name as being there and having seen the shooting.

It has multiple meanings but a lot of times a person of interest ends up being a suspect. If you’re a person of interest in a murder they’re suspicious of you.

The police are fishing. A Cowboys player is can be the perfect bait. The police have all the rolling cameras by now. They need a snitch.

They do not know as of yet, who was in the SUV.

Only that that his party, was involved in a physical altercation with the victims party and after the fact shots are fired from an SUV directly towards the victims party.

Who was in said SUV and who fired the shots are what they are investigating.

They are connecting the dots but obviously want to speak to the other party that was involved in the scuffle.

Right. So you'd assume someone with his party fired the shots. I'd be surprised if it's Joseph (hopefully, he's not that stupid), but it's understandable why police would consider him a person of interest.

I’ll pat myself on the back when I’m proven right. You changed your name on here but I know who you are. I’m smart enough to know you’ll die on this hill of innocence, so this is as far as I’ll be discussing it with you.

I changed my name but I’m not hiding. Same avatar, same post count….not hard to figure out who I am….

Why you would even want to be right about something like this is strange to me but sure Pat yourself on the back. You are arguing rumors and gossip. I’m arguing the facts. Based on what I’ve heard and seen. And the facts are there’s nothing out there to the public that he murdered anyone.

I hope you are right and that he was not in that SUV if one of his friends did so.

No. A person of interest can just be someone the police believes has information about the crime, it doesn't necessarily mean you're suspected of it. Because he was with the group of people involved in the altercation before an SUV drove by and fired shots, he's going to be a person of interest. Whether they are suspicious of him could be part of it or not.

I'm not trying to exonerate him because for all I know, he could have pulled the trigger. I'm just also not trying to convict him based on what little we know.
