Who’s to say that Tolbert or Fehoko, Brown, Vasher or Turbin isn’t the answer?

There’s so much negativity posted here about the WR position and the OL position. It’s like CZ posters actually know what’s going on in practice, in the locker room , in the classroom. This place is flooded with posters who think they know more than the Cowboys scouts, coaches.

Who’s to say that Tolbert or Fehoko, Brown, Vasher or Turbin isn’t the answer?

Who’s to say Biadiaz, Farniok, McGovern, Tyler Smith, Josh Ball, Alarcon aren’t the answer?

The truth is that no one can say 100% on any of this. Every year is a different team. So the haters like P and M and C out there who consistently crap on the QB, and thus the Cowboys, do not know squat. They HOPE that the Cowboys fail so they can blame the QB. But it’s only hope on their part. And that my friends, is sad.
Who?

Maybe Turpin can be a quick open WR like Beez. If he didn’t burn that bridge on the way out I would take a look at him.

This is business. I;d let bygones be bygones! Sign him up cheap and let him be that sneaky outlet for dak.

They were on for a while. Then they figured out if they bracket him if he gets open and Dak gets him the ball Beez gets nailed. He started taking some hits. But if we have someone to carry the secondary down the field we would be fine.

It's absolutely OK to be skeptical. I know that runs counter to your programming, but not all skepticism is hating.

With Tolbert, Fehoko, Brown, Vasher and Turbin (and you left out Dennis Houston, who has been receiving some praise in camp), we're looking at a third-round pick, fifth-rounder, sixth-rounder, two UDFAs and smaller-league journeyman. The odds are against them becoming successful No. 2 and 3 receivers. Doesn't mean they won't, but some of us would prefer that the team prepare better for the strong possibility that they won't.

As I pointed out in another thread, the last UDFA receiver who proved to be more than a fourth-stringer (Miles Austin) was signed by us in 2005, that's 17 years ago, and it took him a while to become more than just a special-teamer. Of the 10 receivers we've drafted since 2009, only four have turned out to be No. 2 or No. 3 receivers, and two of those were drafted in the third round and didn't necessarily contribute at a high level their first year.

We're asking a lot of this group, and expecting them to deliver is very optimistic.

I feel much better about the line because four of the starters return from last year and we used a first-round pick on the other starting spot. The expectations should be higher even if there are some questions there.

So the past 25 years mean nothing
We just need to trust in the organization
Those of us who played the game (at any level) and have studied the game for decades aren't going to gloss over potential problems, or the FACT that the brain trust overpays pet cats and refuses to cut bait. Players love to use the phrase it's just a job, well if it's a job, do your damn job.
Then go root for another team if you’re going to be a Karen and give up.

Its been a while Amber since we talked. But this one made me chime in. You know what the team scouts are saying? You know what the insiders are saying about the coaches opinions? They are all saying they need help at WR and OT. That’s not just the opinion of fans or media. That’s the opinion of VERY SMART football people. We did this a few years ago, don’t you remember ? We tried the WR by committee approach. Then they traded for Amari and Dak was instantly better. C’mon man, you know this too. Don’t regress!!!
You mean BSPN?

And this is the position for much of our fanbase . They just want to enjoy the entertainment value of watching the games cheering and rooting their team on . Which is great.

But there are fans who want to critic and break it all down . You’d think that’s why we have an open discussion in a fan forum.

Apparently we have some fans who don’t fully grasp or appreciate the concept of an open forum discussion or expected there to be less critical thinking . I’m not really sure .
You feel better about yourself now?

Agreed. But I was responding to someone who simply wants everyone to enjoy the entertainment level of following and rooting the team on tiring of the criticism.

Which I think most do enjoy the entertainment level for 60 minutes each game. It’s all of the talk in between which often gets muddled up.

I’m not sure why a fan who didn’t really want to hear the discussions and criticism would be interested in an open forum like this ? There are many other formats with endless FB pages on the Cowboys and affiliated sponsored and supporting mechanisms which wouid provide such a fan.

Why come on a fan forum to only complain about the fans complaining?
I don’t care what you do. It’s your choice to be miserable. Go forth and be a Karen.

Truth is even the coaches don’t know, if they do they aren’t saying so. Truth is you don’t know anything more or less than anyone else. Truth is we won’t know until game 3-4 what everyone is capable of. Truth is you’re a blind miserable homer who has no idea of what the CZ is about and maybe you need to take another break because you are having trouble coping with others views. To be honest there are many some posters here that post observations, beliefs, reviews that are entertaining and enjoyable agree or not it’s what discussing is all about, you should find a new place to vent and everyone has your limited same type views. Stop crying and man up learn to discuss not rant.
