I’ve got another one.

Big 3rd down, we get a stop, and they call Jourdan Lewis for just about the most ticky-tack illegal contact you’ll ever see.

But Noah Brown’s allowed to basically get tackled. Twice. Totally legit.
The fact that there is microscopic attention to Dallas penalties and then blatant avoidance of virtual muggings by the Giants tells me this is premeditated and has been going on for years. There is an unspoken hatred for Dallas in officiating crews and it could not be any more obvious. It is costing Dallas 14 points or mor a game. Multiple blatant muggings is all you need to know. If the ref does not see this, there needs to be a replay remedy to avoid the appearance of conspiracy. Because it looks like a conspiracy to me.

Because Goodall refuses to establish a full time referee group and some refs are incompetent and because refs cant see everything and are not omniscient we need a replay remedy beyond the challenge. Dallas lost 14 points due to horrible non calls. This is unacceptable given what players, coaches and owners put into the process. If both of those calls were reviewed they would have been called penalties. There has to be a remedy for this crap. Getting screwed for 14 points is the difference between winning and losing. This has to stop.

Exactly I’m not convinced there involved in some big conspiracy with Vegas to make us lose...

They just personally don’t like us and call the game tougher on us than our opponents.

Did you see how sad that official looked when he had to call intentional grounding on jones at the end of the game? That face said it all wish someone had a gif of that...

I have seen some very poorly refereed games in recent years but this was terrible on a different level. I am surprised there isn't more noise about the performance.

They are either crooks or incompetent. The only way to deal with it in an objective way is replay review. We are talking about billions of dollars here.

Believe me I am making noise. Only two possibilities. Crooks or Incompetent. No other option. If they need mor refs or we need more review, then thats what we need. This crap has to stop. Dallas was screwed out of 14 points and could have cost them the game against a better team. Giants looked far better than they were. The score was mitigated by non calls.

Quick reminder that the Cowboys not getting a fair shake at officiating predates Goodell by a long shot. Bad officiating cost us the Ice Bowl, SB V, SB X, the 94-95 NFC title game, and the Dez catch. I've seen some real whoppers in the regular season too, such as the Raider game last year which was even worse from an uneven officiating stance than even last night's game. I also recall the Giants back in 89 or 90 getting a safety that clearly was not, and of course the margine of victory for the Giants was that 2 erroneously awarded points.

Then there's the streaks of no holding calls such as 8 games that should be statistically impossible. It clearly seems like most officials want to call penalties against Dallas while being very reluctant to call against their opponents.

Also, for those few of you caught up in the sunk cost fallacy stop letting your ego get in the way of examining the evidence with dialectic mindset rather than rhetoric such as the thinly veiled shaming language used in this very thread.

I agree. I have followed Dallas for years and see nothing but a blatant bias against Dallas and if it were reviewed you could not come to any other conclusion than that something is going on and it is not statistical error. The dez catch cost us the game. We got screwed and Dean Blandino is a clown and horrible person.

What if the Dez play was the correct call by the rules on the books at the time? Because it was, you know.

Noah has come far in one season. They’re roughing him up hard illegally as much as possible to stop our new playmaker. I think we’re going to see more of this until our receivers prove weekly they can hang. Came out of week one looking like a unit that could get bullied.

Look, I aint one to usually believe in conspiracy theories and UFOs and area 51 secret aliens and all that, but dam, that game last night looked borderline rigged...................it was that bad, seriously.

Problem was that the Giants were just so bad that even the refs couldn't help them win. Like another poster said, the refs looked so disappointed at the end of the Game that the Giants were just so inept to take advantage of the home cooking they were getting, LOL.

Now do I think the refs are getting secret deposits to their off shore bank accounts to make these calls against Dallas? No, I still aint buying that, I just think most of the refs probably grew up hating the Cowboys. I mean, if you look at the polling data every year Dallas is listed as the most hated team in the NFL by like 75% of fans, that is why our games are the highest rated even when we suck because people like watching us lose just as much as watching us win.

So based on this polling data, its probably fair to say 75% of the refs probably hate Dallas as well. And look, the problem I see is not phantom fouls, most of the penalties called against us look legit. The problem is the refs look the other way when the other team does the same dam thing.

So how do you fix this? I really dont know if this is fixable, maybe get full time refs?

This referee group was way too incompetent to be corrupt. You are giving them too much credit to say this was deliberate.

Besides, there are too many single events that take place between 22 people on the field at the same time, not including the refs. The permutations are exponentially huge. It would take a monumental collaboration to fix a football game. Too many refs, players, and coaches would have to be in on it.

Wide receiver drops a pass - "Come on, Lamb! Catch the ball!"

Refs miss a penalty call - "IT'S A CONSPIRACY!"

I get what you are saying, like I said above I dont belive in conspiracy crap, but we are not talking about a single penalty missed. We are talking about like 20 penalties missed.

At what point does this become a pattern?

I am not one to complain about officiating until it becomes blatant and cannot be explained. The holding is getting to that point. Our DL players are constantly horse collared, bear hugged, spun around, tackled, and held by their jersey and 90% of it is ignored. Last night was no different but our WRs were also being held and mugged with no calls as well. They started calling some things on the Giants late so I’m not going to claim the officials are attempting to determine who wins. My suspicion is now closer to they understand the league wants Dallas games to stay close for ratings. All the Cowboy haters tune in if they might lose. I hate feeling this way but I can’t explain the ongoing non calls every week any other way. It is to the point of absurdity now.
Media loves flashing to Jones then back to McCarthy or Garrett in the past when something bad happens. Networks love Dallas Drama.

I would wager good money that I could guess with 85-90% accuracy who the candidate posters in this thread voted for.

Absolute comedy.
There’s real evidence in these cases. Video evidence of compete incompetence or I’d argue a subconscious bias is possible or even a conscious bias.

I know you think that a personal bias is completely impossible and that is ok.

Oh, we have video evidence of subconscious bias?

Now you see why I complain so much about them crooked officials. How else can anyone explain this ...

Or this ...

There were no flags thrown on either blatant and obvious pass interference/holding plays. Very obvious the crooked officials were out to help the Giants as much as possible. One of many badly officiated games against the Cowboys over the years.

What say you?

Just wait till we play the Eagles. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel it's going to get thicker soon. How soon I'm not sure, but for some reason I feel that's the game. :espn:
