That’s true for this game, but you can’t say that absolutely for any game in the future. He definitely should send the 2 Brown non-calls in. Regardless, of the result of any game, the goal of the league office should be to get things right.

You could say CeeDee dropping a TD didn’t matter because we won the game. But it made it way more difficult because of that drop to the point that it was in doubt after that because of the drop.

I honestly wish I knew what makes the refs decide to actually throw flags on certain plays.

Some of the fouls the Giants got away with were pretty blatant, like the endzone pass to Brown where he was basically tackled, the choke hold they put on Parsons, etc.

As a diehard Cowboys fan are you an “impartial” observer?

It always cracks me up when “referee bias” is invoked and yet the people making the claim don’t even acknowledge how their own bias skews how their own perspective.

Do you know every fanbase thinks the refs are against their team?

Let me guess though…only the Cowboys have a legitimate beef, right?

It’s amazing to me with all of the technology we have today along with instant information that there hasn’t been one single investigation of a NFL official intentional “ crooked” allegations . Not one single whistle blower. Nothing .

And why this type of terminology is nothing more than typical fan sour grapes over bad or questionable officiating not “ crooked”. Which would be insinuating criminal .

At what point does this become a pattern?

When the Cowboys' "issues" become something like this pattern, I'll take notice. This is the Saints. Did the refs grow up hating a sucky team and just want to pile on because they like seeing the world burn? Lol.

2018 - 30th in penalties called against opponents
2019 - 31st in penalties called against opponents
2020 - 32nd in penalties called against opponents
2021 - 31st (tied for last) in penalties called against opponents

Do you think an impartial person could miss the calls on Brown? If so I assume you think the are unaware of the rules or can’t see well.

That could be, but I think they are screened for that stuff. Do you not?

Am I biased? Sure. Do I like being factually incorrect? No. So I look at the plays carefully and make my decision knowing of my bias. You’re politically biased. Does this stop you from seeing the facts clearly? Or can you manage?

These calls didn’t start today. If you can’t see the imbalance then god bless— ignorance is bliss as they say.

I’m sure they will be. But I don’t see an issue with the Cowboys asking for an explanation for any call, especially the blatantly wrong calls. The league may say “hey, the official screwed up”, or “the call was missed because the official was screened from seeing it”. But it may also say “the call was correct and here’s why” in which case the team can use that info and educate players what to do or expect.

Personally, I think the solution is to allow a coach to challenge anything except maybe where the whistle has blown. The missed call in the end-zone was more impactful as, say, the spotting of the ball at mid-field. Yet, the later can be challenged, but the former can’t. I can’t understand the NFL’s opposition to this.

Another reminder - the NFL is designated as entertainment. They could legally fix games via the officials if they wanted to, so claiming it would be criminal and thus there would be leakers is misguided. If the NFL admitted that the games are not 100% legit it would cost them billions in lost viewers.

Also consider the fact that in every area where we find human involvement we also find corruption, favoritism, bias, etc. To imply that NFL referees are the only totally bias free people in the history of the earth is magic thinking.

Yet more - in 1994 the 49ers blatantly cheated the salary cap to put together an all-star team to derail Dallas. This is a proven matter of record. There were even articles before the season that stated the 49ers didn't even have enough cap room to sign their draft picks, yet magically they signed something like 10 pro bowl level players while releasing only one of two players. Tagliabue not only looked the other way, but flat out refused to investigate them at the request of other owners.

The following year the Cowboys, after having lost many starters and other high quality players to free agency, signed Deion Sanders. Tagliabue immediately launched an investigation into the Cowboys who were obviously doing things legit as the investigation found.

Crooked or incompitent it begs the question why an orginazation like the NFL wont support and hire full time "this is your only job" officials to drastrically improve the flow and the credibility of the game. Gotta be more to the story though.

That game followed a pattern I've been noticing for many years now. Penalties called against Dallas at critical times that kill drives and/or take away points in the first half of games. Somewhere around mid to late 3rd quarter it seems the refs begin calling it down the middle with blatant penalties called for both teams. It isn't just Dallas either. It happens all over the league if you pay attention. One team has way more critical penalties called on them while blatant ones go uncalled for the other team. Result is the game stays close. Then all of a sudden it seems to switch at some point in the 2nd half where the officials call it straight. I have thought for many years that there is just an understanding, not a mandate, amongst the officials that keeping the games close as long as possible is what's best for business. That concept just may go double for Dallas as they want the haters tuning in if they might lose. It has to be close late for that to happen.

Maybe they also designate themselves as entertainment to prevent loons with no lives from taking them to court because they they think a holding call against their team was intentionally fraudulent. No one on these boards would ever do that I'm sure. Lol.

As for the guy claiming Super Bowls are rigged, his entire premise for his game is the Raiders ran an offense they hadn't run all year and thus they knew the plays. Okay. Who ordered this? What changed hands to arrange it? No details, just "it looks to me as if..." You think that's a bulletproof case? Lol.
