Eagles
Giants
Skins
Cowboys
Might really happen! Eagles, Skins, Cowboys, Giants. (Skins will get a QB). Maybe missing playoffs will force Jerry to sign quality free agents. Gonna be real INTERESTING off season. Cancel my sentence with Jerrys' name in it, what am I saying!

We know that feeling huh!
We’ve only known the feeling Washington is going through once in the early 2000s. Those of you who think our QB situation is that bad must not have been following the team during the Quincy Carter years. From your username you were clearly following the team back in the 70s. Our QB situation is better than most.

Lets see if he can prove he is an excellent OC without Mahomes. If he can, he will be first up for a HC gig.

Now to be known as Eric The-Enemy

Thanks I'll be here all week:laugh:
I live 45 minutes from Landover (at least by limousine) I can tell you that the
official name for him is " Eric Be-the-enemy".
Soon to be "Eric Be-the-enema".

Personally, I like to refer to him as "Radio".

I understand he is getting a new title and an opportunity to call plays, but if Washington miss the playoffs again I can see them moving on from Rivera.

I guess he fills the gamble is worth it.

I’m not sold on Bienemy
He will do well. They have 3 legit weapons at WR (McLaurin, Dotson, Samuel( and a good RB (Robinson). OL is decent and QB is unproven. But there is no way they bring him in and roll with Howell.

I don’t expect Super Bowl or division winner. But they should compete and have a good offense

Good for him he deserves it. It does come with risk though. New owner likely in there within a year and they typically want to hire their own staff. Maybe he does such a. Good job he gets promoted to head coach but also a chance he’s looking for a new job this time next year

Agree, but not for a championship, but better than most.

Good luck succeeding without a QB. Almost all his success as an OC was with Mahomes.
Couldn't you say the same about alot of coordinators with elite QB's?

McDaniels has been average to bad without Brady. Gase basically stood and watched as Peyton Manning led super bowl caliber offenses.

I think he will make a difference. Probably not enough to put the Commanders into SB team.

That is Andy’s offense. No matter which offensive coordinator leaves… the KC offense just keeps going, because Reid is the one driving that offense.

Washington will have to hope that Bienemy picked up a lot from Reid… because you can’t look at the KC offense and say much about Bienemy.

IMO, that has been the real issue with him getting a head coaching job. Teams know that the offense in KC is all Reid (and Mahomes). You just don’t know what you’re getting with Bienemy. Maybe good… maybe not. Like I said, you just got to hope that he picked up a lot from Andy.

I honestly think this could be the hire that was quietly and privately pushed by Goodell. Think how embarrassing it would have been for him to have an expiring contract but NO team was willing to hire him even as an OC. I mean it's not like he had multiple interviews waiting after the Super Bowl. Can see league to the Commanders.........we owe you one.
