Dak's extension will show a lot to fans

I don’t think the extension will reveal anything that’s not already apparent. Dak will prioritize his money. Jerry will use him as a bank to continue to free up money. Both will continue to talk as if winning is their priority while their actions will dictate that it’s not quite true.

Yes, and self proclaimed "winners in life" like yourself brag about it on Cowboys message boards, right?
You'll never grasp the difference between winners and yourself in a million years.

Stay in your lane, Crumbs.

Jerry Jones single-handedly destroyed the QB market when he gave this TURD of a QB that contract.
Every agent out there used Prescott's contract as the bar to get a lucrative deal for their QB.
From that midget, the Cards have to the lady's man the Browns signed heck even Rodgers got in on the act upping his deal to 50 million a year.
P.S. Please don't bring up the Mahomes deal as that lad has talent galore compared to inepto Prescott!!!

Ignorant.

That was a market-value contract.

What is actually "destroying" the QB market is a salary cap that continues to rise. I know that doesn't fit with your grievances but it is the reason the deals keep getting bigger.

If anyone has actually screwed up the QB market, it would be Cleveland. A fully guaranteed deal for Happy Ending Watson? That's what devastated this market.

I've never met a winner that can't stay off the bench.

You're already working hard to get put back in time out and it'll come in due time like always.

Bye now, kiddo.
You've never met a winner in real life, period.

You're the company you keep, Crumbs.

Lol. Dak could play for free and some wouldn’t be happy. Pretty much all NFL players want all they can get in those first big contracts. Parsons has pretty much said he is not giving a discount when it’s his turn. Let’s see how he plays between now and then. Does anyone think Parsons will play his 5th year or hold out.

If Dak demands crazy amounts of money on his next extension, I think fans will really be done with him.
After seeing what QB's in his range, Carr, Jones, Geno Smith, who've received less than $40 million a year, it's hard to see him getting much more than that.
He makes about $40 million a year now and that seems to be where his value is. I think it's actually should be more towards $35 million but I think the Cowboys will want to keep it around $40. If he asks for more then he's crazy and/or the Cowboys are stupid for paying it.
He won't sign for less than 45 million a year. It's probably closer to 50 million a year.
