Witherspoon or Gonzalez seem more likelyWith their first pick or second pick? If its their 10th overall pick that would be foolish IMO.

That would be funny if true though I think it is more about Howie trying to get below the cap before the 2023 league year starts.Notice, they didn't release him until after we traded for Gilmore. Lol
That’s the type of player you wait till there is no market for if they are still there you get them cheap.Might as well pick him up.
Diggs, Gilmore, Slay, and Bland seems fun.
I think Slay is the better player at this point in their careers.i’m not so sure. roughly the same age, looking for more money, and the beneficiary of a stacked defense. plus if i’m not mistaken at one point he said he’d never play for the cowboys so if it’s *** me it’s *** you lol
Im still surprised they couldn't find a market for him. I think that front 4 protected him and Bradberry, but he is still a good playerHe wanted a new deal. They couldn't agree.
Literally no one here said that. But they I was told they would keep everyone![]()
Huh? You didn’t see Slay 10 yards off Hilton? The safety was late too but that for sure was Slay.Scott got beat on the 3rd and 30 not Slay
My guess is we got Gilmore levels of compensation, and it had to be more than that to justify not June 1sting himIm still surprised they couldn't find a market for him. I think that front 4 protected him and Bradberry, but he is still a good player
No one wanted his $26M 2023 cap hit.Im still surprised they couldn't find a market for him. I think that front 4 protected him and Bradberry, but he is still a good player
Very few CB are "successful" in a transition to safety. Different mind set. The really, really good ones that are students of the game could do it, whereas maybe gambling athletic CB might not make the transition as well.If anything I'd move one of the older corners to fs, at least they tackle.
If they lose CJGJ, that's a really big blow. But it's been quiet on that front and Roseman may be shuffling the deck to try to bring him back.I think they were surprised they could keep Bradberry. Slay is declining and is not worth the big extension he apparently wanted. They got a little younger by proxy and really are not going to be able to make big moves this season and have a lot of dead cap. We just need to hope Gardner Johnson wants like 17 million a year putting the Eagles out of contention.
But also losing Hargrave is huge and will cause them to regress big time. Davis is a run stopper, not a QB rusher. Cox is old and not what he used to be if he would resign. Hopefully Carter does not fall to them... they love their OL / DT as we know over the years.....
The value DT where some teams (us) under value the position.
I've seen it more than once.Literally no one here said that.
Nit.No one wanted his $26M 2023 cap hit.
Yeah, if you did it was like one person. Almost everyone acknowledged they were going to lost some starters on defense.I've seen it more than once.
And would have signed him to a new deal right away anyway, heavily reducing thatNit.
Any team acquiring only had to take a $17 million cap hit.
You realize why he is being released right?.. some of our fans I don't know about. Dudes cap is 26mil!? LolI aint gonna lie
Id rather have signed Slay, than Trade a pick for Gilmore
