Since my post got deleted, here it is again:

Lol at all the Dak haters. How many quarterbacks are legitimately "THAT" guy anymore? Rodgers has folded in the playoffs more times than I can count. Allen came back to earth following Daboll's departure. Hurts had one great season with a soft schedule and an easy path to the Super Bowl. Lamar obviously isn't it. Justin Herbert is amazing, but unproven in the postseason.

For me, it's Burrow and Mahomes. Those are guys you should expect to be Super Bowl contenders with if they're on your squad. Everyone else is hit or miss, just like Dak.

He's not elite, but he's not bad. You want to go back to the pre-Romo days? Fine, do you. We've had back-to-back 12-win seasons for the first time since the 90s and won our first road playoff game in 31 years with Dak. He has 1,559 passing yards, 15 total touchdowns, and five INTs in the postseason.

Y'all continue their bogus narrative that he's not good enough to win a chip with.
Exactly, I dont think anyone is calling Dak elite. However, he's a very good QB, which, especially with where he was drafted, is not easy to find. I do think he has areas to improve, but he's a very good QB. Hopefully, this year we will be able to make it at least to the NFCC.

There's a notion that "Dak owns the NFCE".....and that is a badge of great honor.

Really? Maybe 20-40 years ago. We've been one of the worst divisions in football for a decade. "owning it"......is just Dak Love And Protection/

The NFC East has actually improved since 2020, and it's arguably the toughest division now.

The NFC teams made the playoffs because of their positions in the conference. It wasn’t because they had good teams. The NFCE has been terrible over the last few years.

How does that make sense? By that argument, the other teams in the conference weren't good either. If you make the playoffs as a WC, then it's because you were better than the competition of the other 2nd place teams in your conference. I know the NFC East was terrible in 2020, but it was much better in 2021. And, starting last season, it's now arguably the best division in football.

It really doesnt matter where we grade or rank Dak. The question is what do we want to achieve and why arent we (and him as QB) able to achieve it.

Get rid of the Dead Cats, its Offense in critical games vrs good Defenses where we struggle. If someone bases success on (win) "12 and Pray" then we're likely to be a perennial bridesmaid.

I think we all agree (and hope) that Moore going and expected improvement in receiving corp will create an improvement.....if it doesnt, or more importantly, Dak is unable to overcome his composure issues there is no point in paying top dollar for the 'same ole'.

Im not saying yea or nah to the extension, but that decision should be made on 2023 performance and not CAP issues or 'there's no-one better".....will Dak, by his performance give us a SB.

I think it's going to be good to see Dak in a more traditional WCO. I think that style suits him because, instead of curl routes, he will be able to throw to players already running, instead of having to stop to come back to the ball. This should help because the DBs won't be able to have that half-step difference, which makes the difference between a completion and interception.

I don't disagree that it has improved of late.
Even in 2021, our division was about average, and we were the only division that year, outside the NFC West, in the NFC to have a WC team. Despite this, we swept all of our division rivals that year. So, Dak's owning of the NFC East isn't just in down years for this division. Especially with the Eagles having been as good as they were last year and the resurgence of the Giants, that'd very important. We will need Dak to keep that going this year if we are to have a chance at winning the division.

I always said Dak was an above average QB that could win a superbowl if surronded by enough talent and just drove the bus straight

Last couple years I don't see this happening at all now. It's time to start developing/ looking for a new QB

With MM calling plays, the addition of Cooks, and subtraction of Zeke absolutely no reason Dak shouldn't put up big numbers for those stat chasing fantasy posters

Even good QBs are making elite money these days just look around the league. Daniel Jones just got paid $40 million per. That’s becoming the average salary for a starting QB. A QB doesn’t have to be close to Patrick Mahomes to make elite money. Anyone who can’t see that Dak is better than a lot of QBs in the league is lost. Anyone who doesn’t want to pay elite money for a QB is going to be stuck with one that likely has a losing QB record and is bouncing around the league. So what’s your master plan at QB, dump Dak for a cheap castoff or draft one and hope they turn out? From listening to you, you would settle for Cooper Rush. Lol
Dak supporters all seem to be fixated on this, why is this always the focal point?
I don't believe that it's a stretch to imagine most people that take the time to post here, already have at least a basic understanding of the leagues pay structure.
The question that also always comes up from the few Dak defenders left here, is what would you do about it?
It's a simple answer, but one the Jones refuse to ever acknowledge or answer, you draft and develop a young QB, like 3 years ago so you don't get bent over a barrel like Dak and his agent did to this unprepared, slow front office..
That is the answer, and the issue that translates to frustration from the fan base that is tired of the same old song and dance and lazy approach of just good enough is good enough.
What is the enigma of adding competition at the QB position?
Is Daks ego so fragile that he couldn't handle that pressure?

Not really. It's real, been happening and will continue to happen for now. The dreamers are you guys who have been saying Dak would be gone by now. lol
Honestly, I can't remember seeing anyone relevant posting that Dak would be gone, just those saying that he should be gone.

I honestly think he is going to struggle hitting players in stride. That is exactly why this offense runs curl routes. He can't even throw a simple swing pass to Zeke In stride without Zeke having to either reach behind him or leap up 2 feet in the air.

Ehh it’s not a badge of honor but you play 6 games in the NFC East every year. That’s 35 percent of your games. That’s pretty crucial and a asset to take care of your division especially if 3 out of those 4 teams were in the playoffs.

If they extend him, we will know that floating Max Duggan's name out there was just BS....on the other hand, those idiots can never keep their mouths shut....someone will jump up and take him just head of us, just like Dallas Goedert.
If they want Max Duggan they will get him. They’ve won’t have to worry about anyone jumping in front of them he’s not projected to go high and if he does that benefits the Cowboys.
