He spoke the truth. Cd is mostly slot, aj is a more complete wr imo. Not a knock.

Sure, technically you're right, but by that definition, every wr in the NFL is an inside/outside player. On pass plays Lamb played about the same % of snaps from the slot as Cooper Kupp has, both about twice as much as Brown.

AJ Brown worded it terribly, but while I'm not sure he's right about anything, I cant say he's necessarily wrong either. Lamb can play any WR spot out there, but slot is where he's at his best. Brown is an outside player who can move inside is what I sort of took from the quote.

Regardless it seems people are making a whole lot of something out of nothing here.

Remove the "who plays where" argument from the entire equation. Even the most outwardly humble receiver in the NFL internally churns with a very healthy dose of self-confidence. So these guys know what they're doing when they say/type something comparing themselves to a peer. He was poking. It's basically innocent poking, but nonetheless, he knows what he was doing.

I'm sure this will be on the backburner, if not forgotten, by the time the season rolls around as God only knows what's going to go on between now and then.

I don't see him as hating. CD does the majority of his damage from the slot. Sounds like AJ would rather be compared to guys who work mostly on the outside where he probably feels is a bit harder than working inside.

Honestly, who cares!

Lamb is a really good WR, Brown was really good last year.

The option of Ruggs Jeudy or Lamb.....and do I need to mention Reagor makes me think we are fine thanks.

If we really want to play with game, Lamb v Smith picked at 10? Eh........Lamb thanks.

and? That's different than hating. and there's nothing wrong with gamesmanship. If Ceedee said that about AJ, we as Cowboys fans would be all for it and high-fiving everyone.

That doesn't matter. Wasn't the point Brown was trying to make. CD is more of a slot WR. If Cooper was still here him and Gallup would be outside, Lamb would be slot.
