And you not being able to have a civilized conversation....or succintly make you objection without a long winded obfscating rant...

Says a lot too.
Not a rant all that I said had to be a story leading up to my point it's all backed by facts maybe you don't understand what FACTS means but I'm stating only facts

we had far worse quarterback play in the SB era teams, you act like Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach somehow never made mistakes and in fact they made more mistakes touchdown interception ratios don't lie

I'm including the playoffs and you just don't see it Prescott's going through the same annoying criticisms that Tony Romo did and somehow you back Tony Romo and both of them have had issues with the team around them.

If you call that a rant and I'm stating facts there are the stats right here below that prove the touchdown interception ratios for some of our well known Super Bowl ring wearers are far worse than the playoffs then Prescott or Romo I don't want to hear about the era and all the other nonsense they literally made the same mistakes but the team was so good the coaching was so good they were able to overcome it as a team..

roger

td 153-109 ints Playoffs 24td 19INTs(umm none of those critical LMAO) UMM OK

Troy-

165-141 playoffs 23tds-17 INts(right none critical huh?) no way jimmy would have put up with that

Dwhite

155-132 playoffs 15-17 WOW no way TL puts up with mistakes at critical time LOL

Romo

248-117 playoffs 8 tds 2 INts show me the critical INts hmm his td-int ratio is much better

Dak

166-65 playoffs 11-5ints

2-4 in the playoffs are his career stats.
Team game.

6 playoff games. Only 2 bad ones for Dak. Unfortunately, those 2 were his last two playoff games, both being losses.

The ankle injury and the big contract have reduced him as a run threat.

When people try to sell a 29 year old QB on his *career* stats, you can guess that recent history hasn't been that glorious.

I still do not understand why Ken Anderson is on the outside looking into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His Cincinnati Bengals teams were sporadic but it should not reflect badly on him.

Anderson was a really good quarterback, whose team had the misfortune of running into the San Francisco 49ers. Ironically, Boomer Esaison met a similar fate against the exact same franchise.

No, there is no basis.

Andy Dalton is about to pass up Joe Montana, Johnny U, and possibly Dan Fouts.

Using raw yardage to place a player as an all time great is hugely erroneous.
Completion %, TD/INT ratio & passer rating...

Fair, to a degree. But let's not forget Romo's 2007 team had the 1 seed and flopped in the playoffs, losing at home to a Giants team they beat twice in season.

Playoff pressure is different. Some guys respond to it, some guys wilt under it, others just can't quite get over the hump.
The same Giants team that took out a high powered Packers and historic Patriots team?

Troy Aikman would have lost against those Giants as well.

Did you not bring up tthe 4th quarter to prove Romo is more accurate than Romo or am I lying?
No....and no.
I did not bring up 4th qtr stats....alone....to show accuracy.

And you arent lying that i brought it up.

I did bring up ALL 4th qtr stats...along eith career stats.....to show you Romo has better stats in many regards...
Including qb rating. Which considers accuracy.

Then you changed it to playoff accuracy. Well of course that is true....not arguing that.

The source i pulled those stats from....makes a case that aikman had a better team around him. A valid point.

Very frustrating that a superbly written piece in a thread opened by Khiladi highlighting the deficiencies by Dak Prescott was locked yet there's countless biased threads opened and remain live jazzing up his empty calories. Embarrassing.
His article was 4 years old and was talking about the change over to Moore. It's funny it highlights changes to performance on a timeline of coaching changes but he concludes that the thing that did not change was cause.

That's frustrating? Khiladi been posting those same stats for 4 years. He still talks about 2017.....

We both know he sucks.

Not sure why you feeled compelled to trash him so hard. Forcing a different direction after you were proven wrong in your initial trashing.
I'm not trashing him i've said time and time again I was a Romo fan just like everyone else. I thought we all had a understanding that Romo was a good but not great quarterback who didn't perform at a high level in the playoffs.....so how on earth did we in 2023 get to the point of knocking Aikman. We shouldn't even be comparing Romo to Aikman...hell not even Danny White lol.
