Who is more to blame, the scheme or the QB?

I see alot of fans blame mccarthy and his wco for the offensive performance tonight but coming into this game, the offense was one of the best at sustaining drives and getting into the redzone. However, tonight was pathetic.

Are receivers really not open or is the QB too scared to attack the MOF?

Both but Dak can’t run that offense. The QB needs to be able to read quickly and lead the receivers for YAC. I blame MM for making him try this scheme but I also understand that he had to go in another direction because it wasn’t working under KM, particularly against tough teams.

It is mainly a QB problem.

Scheme is limited because the QB is very limited.
This is true.

And also what may be true is that the QB is limited because the scheme is limiting him.

Both may be true.

The QB's skills are limited, and McCarthy's play designs and playcalling are vanilla and basic (thus, limiting for a QB, unless you have a QB with an arm like Rodgers who can bail an OC out).

Both

Hes had how many schemes now?

I remember when romo basically started to ignore Garretts plays and just call his own and then the offense started cooking.

IF its scheme, why doesnt Dak try that out instead of suffering with 3 bad schemes?

It's so many things on so many different levels.
