Cowboys are what we are

Trolls will never allow Cowboy fans to lower their expectations.

The entire context of trolling the Cowboys is we are not winning championships.

That’s what they feed on .
 
How many times do we hear 'we like our guys' when it comes to not making any moves during the season? Pretty much 'our job is done during the draft and after a couple of FO moves. We'll go with what we got." You're not going to be able to compete with the teams that have an aggressive FO that actually constantly look to make roster improvements.

Jerry is just interested in creating a watchable team and that's what we got... a team coming in at budget that is good enough to create enough hope that we think they 'just might do something' but always ultimately fail against the real championship contenders.

I really think our fans mindset should be more in line with fans of other mediocre franchises this era.

We are NOT a championship caliber franchise anymore.

I certainly haven’t given up. Anything is possible in NFL . Especially single elimination playoffs.

My message is we aren’t a championship caliber franchise anymore and we need to lower our expectations and stop the SB Hype every year.

It’s why our franchise and fanbase are trolled by opposing fans and media

It’s fans like that who attract all of the trolling on the Cowboys.

We can have a good team , have a shot at winning in playoffs without the SB Hype. Like most teams who haven’t won or played for a championship recently.

This is why we get trolled.

Actually it has had some pretty good teams just for what ever reason did not get over the hump.you’re spoiled by Landry and the short span of Johnson. Let’s be honest if you owned the team and loved playing football you would do what Jerry did run it your way and like it or not he owns the team. Expectations should be high at the start of a season and adjustments made as it progresses. Right now this team has the same chance as the top 4 to 5 teams to get it done.

No , 99% of owners in NFL history don’t run their franchise like Jethro. Regardless if they have played football in college. That’s so ridiculous trying to justify the madness Lol

Once the SB Hype stops every year from fans then the trolling begins to stop. Trolls feed on the fact we are hurt by not winning championships because of our expectations based on prior now almost ancient history.
 
Look how Lions are celebrating first division title in 30 years .

Cowboys should be celebrating first time in 30 years with 3 consecutive playoff appearances .

That’s how mediocre franchises operate . But for some reason Cowboy fans think they have a greater franchise this era. We don’t . We suk in comparison to the more successful franchises .
 
Once you accept you are more mediocre or dormant franchise it lessens the pain while lowering expectations.

I’ve been a Baylor fan all of my life too. It’s ok rooting on a less successful school or franchise. We just lower our expectations. The media and opposing fans don’t care about you either.

Just because 99% do it doesn’t make it right. I’m not a Jerry fan but if you don’t like the way it’s run just deal with it. Tell us all the championship franchises out there right now that is a SB contender and will continue to be one for the next 10 seasons.
