Rules on Eligibility Reporting

The refs were the ones that needed to pay attention and not screw up the call by signally 70 was eligible when 68 was eligible .....The players know what play and where they're lining up for the two pouint play that they practiced a hundred times..
I'm fine with the possibility that the actual communication on the field was done properly and the refs screwed it up. You are quite presumptive that is the case when there is no certainty but I am saying that does not matter.

Campbell could have done something about it. He didn't. That is a huge failure on his part.

There is irrefutable proof that skipper reported. And if you look at campbell after the first little fringed outburst there is nothing more nor anything from decker. Why, because they both know if was a trick to screw dallas. Often called cheating.
I’d say the video I posted is fairly irrefutable. The ref announced it. In stadium. Why wouldn’t 68 try to correct the ref if they got it wrong?

Well if they sent one lineman maybe the one that was reporting eligible, there would not have been any confusion.

You have mentioned that a couple of times and that is not true. 70 clearly ran up to the ref to get his attention and was definitely close to the ref. Picture 1 you could argue he is looking at 70.

He's four yards from the ref, he joggs up to 68 and puts his arm around his waist, the ref has two players between him and 70 with his back turned and is walking towards the defensive line..

But that is not the case. Visible evidence for skipper pointing to himself and brad allen pointing to him as he is running towards him. Irrefutable proof that skipper not decker reported. But it was all orchestrated confusion by Campbell. I have no illusion that Campbell or his players would do something so stupid know they would get killed by Campbell afterwards. All cheating.

Every morning show, and pregame show of a dozen ex headcoaches, and ex players ALL said the refs screwed up the call...

People are not getting it. It was all orchestrated to screw dallas not actual confusion. Just created ambivalence to win by cheating

70 had reported multiple times during the game. What was 58 doing there? When 70 runs on the field towards the ref from the sideline, the ref points at him and nods.

70 had no business doing that. He should have ran directly to the huddle. Detroit was obviously trying to create some confusion and it worked.

You said he was no where close to the ref. I'm showing you he was.

Regardless, the onus was on Detroit. Once 70 was declared, 68 was not eligible.

The player reporting eligible goes and talks to the Ref. No reason for anyone else.

70 as announced as declared over the PA. This is done to notify the defense but also to give the offensive coaching staff a chance to act if there is a problem. Campbell let it ride and even if a mistake was made by the refs, he did not use the failsafe. The 2 refs on the sideline are there for a reason. That is 100% on Campbell and his staff.
Yea exactly. It’s really not a huge mistake by refs . All Detroit had to do was go actually no it’s this number . When they announced It the play was shot and they ran it anyway . Dumb of them,

And if skipper is reporting which he is why the two other lineman in the officials face prior except to create ambivalence and confusion. There would be no reason for them to be addressing the ref. Especially 58. This was all carefully planned and scripted. This is just the first act people. I am confident Campbell will go down as a dirtier coach than Bellichick and much worse. This is the new age of no moral compass people sit back and get your popcorn

look logic and empirical proof is not enough for many on here that engage in a fantasy that Campbell could not possibly be a cheater which he is.

With no timeouts left and a play clock. A player coming on the field has to quickly report. 70 ran directly to the Ref, not the huddle. 70 had reported multiple times earlier, most likely in a similar fashion. This obviously caused miscommunication, confirmed by the announcement of 70 being eligible and not 68.
