Can You Admit You Gave Up On The Season?

I assumed the 5th seed and lose our first road playoff game. Probably still think that second part, so I hope someone knocks SF off in the divisional round.

Give up on the season?" Um, no.

After the Bills and Dolphins, I thought that we were destined to be the #5 seed and have to go on the road to the AFC South winner.

But that is NOT the same as "giving up". More like stoic resignation. LOL

It's always been about advancing beyond the
divisional playoff game. They've been gifted a
golden opportunity (of which they held up their end).

Now, they have 2 home playoff games.
Possibly a third. No excuses now.

Watching the Philthy meltdown has been delightful.

I definitely was shaky after the Niners loss, wanted everyone fired lol. But I'm glad I was wrong!

I'm optimistic right now, like I keep saying, but the Cowboys still need to prove to me they can win a playoff game against a worthy opponent. Right now, we are all euphoric after the win, but we gotta keep in mind that it was against a Team that was in play in the contest of worst team in the NFL this season, and even then, at the beginning of this game the way they were gambling, if they kept the momentum up, things might of turned out differently. We still have a lot to prove.
Definitely!!!!

In a league with a 17 game season, it’s overreacting to “give up” on any team that still has a chance to do something. Too many people still haven’t learned this lesson: You never know what’s going to happen in the NFL.

When the eagles were 10-1, I didn’t expect them to lose 5 of their last 6. But it’s the NFL and the NFL is simply not predictable. I don’t care how great or how bad any team looks on any given week, it is no guarantee for the next. Hey, there will be at least one upset next weekend. None of us know what’s going to happen. I expect the Cowboys to win. But…

I always assume this is how fans are but sadly there’s alot that aren’t.

I never gave up. And I never stopped arguing with ppl here that we can still win the division even when Philly was 10-1. It has made the journey oh so much sweeter

I didn't give up but I thought the east was a foregone conclusion.

Who would have thought the Eagles would beat The Chiefs, Dophins, Bills, Us...only to lose the division because of losses to the Seahawks and Cardinals?

I didn't give up on the season because Dallas is judged by what happens in the playoffs, not the regular season.
Yeah, after we wrapped up a playoff berth, everything else was gravy. Now, I like gravy.

I've never "given up", per say, on a season. I watch every single game, every single season. Now, did I lose confidence in the team this season? Yes. After the SF game I was so disappointed in Dak and the whole team. I was bummed.

Fast forward to today, and here we are with Dak playing good ball and we got the #2 seed.

It's been a wild season, but here we are. I'll be rooting for this team like crazy through these playoffs. With any luck, maybe a few more things can break Dallas' way in the next few weeks.

Go Cowboys.
