It really doesn't. Ot and C are strong, sure, but it's also weak at DT, LB, DE, RB--you know, all of the other positions we need starters for
You have some good DT's available, epically the Murphy kid from Texas.

Honestly, when it’s all said and done I think we get to a point here where we are begging for Jerry back one day. That’s how bad Stephen will be imo

And that’s not really off this just him in general
Not saying Stephen won’t be worse, but no, I’ll never beg for Jerry back.

Just what I didn't want to hear going into the draft, selecting "Need" over best player available regardless of position is a recipe for disaster...

And I do expect Dallas to move back in this draft because of the dreaded "NEED", they need more players than picks they have now..
That's not how it works and they're not gonna say exactly what their plan is and give you your their board all over the Internet.. Literally, here's how it works and let's please leave last year out of this,

but they will have the top three to five guys at every position slotted for each round and then they will look at how they stack up against each other, if they're there when we pick and the biggest need it might be a tie between a couple of guys that are actually equally graded and then you do take need....

But you're also getting one of the best players at a position you need so don't read into things cause the word need sounds bad.. I find it also a little convenient you know when other teams have a need for a quarterback and they go reach for one up in the top five it happens all the time they'll go trade up for a guy like trade Lance with three first round picks and that is actually the San Francisco 49ers people drool over I also saw the Philadelphia Eagles take Jordan gave us at 13 people are mad that we took mazi at 24 or 27 wherever we picked that year I mean they're the same positions the players are really not that big a difference but these other two teams apparently have better GM's and they do the same thing...

So again don't mistake the word need for looking at a board if you have all things being equal at say 3 positions you take the one that you need why wouldn't you take the one you need if you have a close to equal grade on them??

When they choose once again to not participate in free agency, we'd be silly to expect them to fill t needs in the draft, when they've been unable to do so for 30 years. And maybe Steele will get back to his average pre-knee play of 22, but he was awful last year.
Was not Kendricks signed as a free agent? And free agency isn't over, either.

That's what I mean about waiting to ditch the season, way too early....

With a talented draft class at the top on the offensive line and other positions, Stephen Jones sees a big opportunity to improve in the draft next month.

Jones is correct about Cowboy needs, because there are quite a few QBs in this draft..............

All they really need is to use their first 3 picks to find a 2 or 3 starting olineman, 2 starting D tackles, another linebacker, a starting running-back and a wr3. And another corner.....easy peasy...
They just need to draft 3 really good players with 1 of them being a running back. They can't miss. This is about the long term, not just 2024.

Lol, they are set at qb. They need line help and running back. They could also snag a bpa wr.

49ers were a better team:
  • #1 seed vs Cowboys #2
  • Won head-to-head (and it wasn't close)
  • Advanced to Super Bowl

..and they have added free agents
  • Leonard Floyd
  • Yetur Gross-Matos
  • Jordan Elliott
  • Earnest Brown
  • Raymond Johnson
  • De'Vondre Campbell
  • Brandon Parker
  • Chase Lucas
  • Isaan Yiadom
  • Ezekial Turner
..and made trades
  • Maliek Collins
vs the Cowboys lone addition
  • Eric Kendricks
and have more draft picks
  • 9 to Dallas' 7

How exactly does Jerry & Stephen expect to close the gap on their main NFC competition?
The 49ers do look good, but it is a long season. The 49ers should be the favorite.

What Stephen is saying is they’ll likely have to pass on the best players available and have to pick for need due to all the players they’ve lost and their lack of free agent signings.

Lol. We're gonna get 6 first-year starters in the 2024 draft, after having ZERO last year.

The BS never stops
