Dude, the team was 8-9 and getting worse. He was retiring. And even if he wasn’t, the idea the Dak made who many consider the GOAT at QB retire is absurd to everyone except “Dak-Stans”.
This is what Brady insinuated when asked before Week 17's 2022 season game concerning retiring for good:

"To this point, Brady has sounded the part of a player who seems focused on continuing his illustrious career but will his take his time before deciding. Recently, the veteran QB maintained his desire to keep playing prior to Tampa’s Week 17 win over Carolina to claim a third consecutive playoff berth and a second NFC South title in three years."

Because then they would have to admit the failures and that he isnt the answer. They are dug in.
Baloney. Kurt Warner has no reason to lie. He's simply breaking down what he sees and what/who is truly responsible for those playoff INTs. He repeatedly has said for 3 playoff seasons in a row is what is hurting the Cowboys: lacking attention to details, studying tape and fixing those bad details.

Each of your knees has two C-shaped pieces of cartilage that act like a cushion between your shinbone and your thighbone. A torn meniscus causes pain, swelling and stiffness. You also might feel a block to knee motion and have trouble extending your knee fully. (link)

A pneumothorax can be caused by a blunt or penetrating chest injury, certain medical procedures, or damage from underlying lung disease. Or it may occur for no obvious reason. Symptoms usually include sudden chest pain and shortness of breath. On some occasions, a collapsed lung can be a life-threatening event. (link)

Romo broke a finger on his throwing hand in a loss to Arizona (link).

lol. The team lost that game. Guess losing to the Cardinals at the Cardinals is at least one thing he and Prescott have in common.

If you take away Dak's playoff game (and I know we can't, don't attack me), he was playing at an elite level last season.

And for Schlereth to call him the best QB in the NFC is not a stretch at all. Who's better in the conference? Jalen Hurts or Jared Goff is pushing it. Maybe Brock Purdy but it's hard to judge him since the 49ers have an all-pro roster at every position, offense and defense.

And this is not anything for or against Dak, but most of the QB's we can call better than him for sure are in the AFC (Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Burrow).

Until he wins , the narrative will remain. Valid or not.

Mark Schlereth spoke of Prescott's AFC peers during his podcast. (link) That notable part of Schlereth conversation was not included in the video creator's content that is included in the thread's opening post.

I mean, who's better in the NFC. Like for real!?
Well, Purdy & Goff competed a lot better against top competition. Love also if we are being honest.

Also, the level of QB play overall in the NFL is quite weak at the moment. Being one of the least bad isn't the sama as being one of the best.

The fans have become realists. If they checked out, they wouldn't still be here. We're still around during FA, unlike the FO.
A lot of fans come here to vent and rant. They use this board as a platform to voice their displeasure at the QB and front office.

This inflation of “Dak beating Brady” to prop the former up and the victory as a signature win is hilarious. It was an 8-9 team, literally the worst division winner that year. Brady has been beat a number of times in the regular season and playoffs even when his team has been good. He just hasn’t been beat that many times when his team has been good. But to expect him to overcome all on his own a team that was 8-9 during the regular season and barely made the playoffs at the end of his career against a better team is even asking too much.
All at the spry age of 45?

You just can't make up what some of the "fans" cling to.

Love lost to the Giants and Broncos last year. Honestly his best game was against the Cowboys who decided not to cover anybody that afternoon.

It’s not apologists it’s realists. The BIG problem is the team primarily the defense never shows up in the playoffs. The running game and repeated penalties are an issue. You fans who put it all in Dak and claim the Joneses don’t want to win aren’t seeing things clearly.

Not hard having a perfect passer rating against our defense. Joshua Dobbs had a 120.0 passer rating against us, Oue defense is garbage in the playoffs.

Where has Dak choked in every big game? Most of the big game losses we’ve had, it’s been primarily the defense.
No it hasn't. The defense takes the blame because Dak shuts down and leaves them to play the game by themselves.
Against Green Bay he spotted the Packers 14 points while providing nothing for the Cowboys.
This os a regular occurrence; he shuts down until the game is out of reach, then puts up points against a loose defense.
