No it hasn't. The defense takes the blame because Dak shuts down and leaves them to play the game by themselves.
Against Green Bay he spotted the Packers 14 points while providing nothing for the Cowboys.
This os a regular occurrence; he shuts down until the game is out of reach, then puts up points against a loose defense.
The Packers were up by 7 before we ever saw the ball. The regular occurrence is our defense that consistently sucks in the playoffs.

If I was an ex Cowboys player and the Commanders had Dak, I would be telling the Commanders that Dak is a, upper echelon, Super Bowl Caliber & the best QB in the NFC too!
Anything to keep Dak on the my most hated rival.

Yeah, because no playoff team ever scores a touchdown against a good defense.

Well, Purdy & Goff competed a lot better against top competition. Love also if we are being honest.

Also, the level of QB play overall in the NFL is quite weak at the moment. Being one of the least bad isn't the sama as being one of the best.
Bro step back from yoir hatred of him and look at the whole picture, I'm not the biggest fan of Dak but dude is still top 7 or 10 QB in this league QB play is not bad at all. Mahomes obviously at the Top then who, Lamar, Allen, Burrow, etc. let's be real mahomes is in a bracket all his own and then there is everybody else. Slowly thing matter rather yoi w8n against hood teams or bad is winning IT ALL which only 15 has done

Their offense scored 41 and could have kept scoring had they not let up and put their backups in. Our defense sucked!

Dude, hatred? Really?

You just listed yourself how slim the pickings are right now with legit NFL QB's.

For decades we had Brady, Brees, Rothliesberger, Manning, Rivers, etc., that were holding down the top of the board and another 5-10 that could float in & out of the elite conversation. Midlings were naturally forced down to a numerical position more in line with their actual abilities.

With a slimmer pack at the top, midlings are "top X" but it's just an over inflated ranking based on less overall talent.

Come on, I hear you, but you know damn well he is not going to give a discount to the Cowboys. He knows who he is and what he can do, so if he knows a good deal he is going to take it because there is not another team that will pay him what he wants and him and his agent know that.
I think circumstances alter cases and in this case he left the last game of the season with a real bad taste and everybody's mouth having thrown to interceptions in a home playoff game against an inferior opponent so it really doesn't stand up as a positive going into contract negotiations.

If they made it to say the NFC championship game and were in the last 2 minutes with the score 21 20 in favor of San Francisco.

And it was 3rd and 10 Dak ran for the first down but CD was called for an illegal shift and we had to settle for a 45-yard field goal try that was missed.

In my opinion that scenario would give Dak bargaining power what really happened in Green Bay that hurts his chances I believe

I agree. I’ve said this several times. If Dak, CD and Micah want history with their contracts then they need to make history on the field.

If I had my way I’d trade Micah now, keep CD, and let Dak play out his contract or trade him if he would wave his NTC. I feel exactly the same about Micah that I do about Dak. Signing them long term will cripple our team financially and on the field. Dak is a great regular season QB and doesn’t show up in the playoffs. Micah is a no show past Thanksgiving. The idea of paying Micah a massive amount is ridiculous to me. He’s a no show in half the regular season. I’d keep CD right now but I go back and forth on that.

But Micah, Dak, DLaw all are wasted contracts IMO. They are invisible in big games and if I had my way we’d trade all three and spend that draft capital on rebuilding the trenches.
Signing CD longterm will also cripple our franchise.

We have to figure out why our regular seasons aren’t translating to the playoffs. Our best players aren’t showing up in the playoffs. Our best regular season performances aren’t showing up in the playoffs. Our worst regular season performances are showing up in postseason and it’s become very troubling.
It's already been figured out. Just gotta listen to the right people.

Dak is a good QB. Not a great one. He has skill. He has talent.

I've been saying this for years now, Dak's problem is that he does not process information quickly. This is why you see him focusing on one side of the field all the time, even while recievers are running downfield uncovered on the other side. Early on in his career, he couldn't read a defense to save his soul. He has gotten better at that every year. But even so, there is only so much data that he can process during a play, and it is obvious to anyone that cares to look.

Can he win it all? Hell, yes. I mean, if Trent Dilfer can ride a defense to a Lombardi, Dak sure can too. And Dak will help the effort a LOT more than a Trent Dilfer ever could.

Side note: Watching the defense completely not show up against the Packers this year was heartbreaking. I will forever blame the Head Coaching interview process for this. There should be a FREEZE on all coaching changes from the end of the season until 2 weeks after the Super Bowl. No firings. No interviews. No offers. No hiring.

Poor Dak! That is sissy stuff to Romo. Romo would never let a little woo woo knock off his game. He played with a punctured lung, but nothing is said about that.
Dak was playing with a rotator cuff injury but Dallas proceeded to hang 47 on the 3-13 Commanders the next game, going 23-33 for 303 yards and 4 TDs. It’s a “miracle”.. or was it a beating of another pathetic team in a meaningless game..

Kurt Warner repeatedly keeps breaking down and explaining what went wrong with Dak's interceptions during the last couple of playoffs. Why are people intentionally avoiding this?
No, we don’t accept your account if Warner. You also said Warner didn’t know what he was talking about when he was actually doing videos and focusing on Dak’s play.. it’s not our fault Dak’s an idiot so they got these basic offense for him that is about one side of the field.

That's what happens when Dak shuts down and makes the defense have to play the game by themselves.
By the end of the first half everyone knew it was another year wasted by Dak's choking.

You’re making excuses for the defense and putting it entirely on Dak. Dak put up over 400 yards and 3 TDs and you claim he shut it down? lol He didn’t quit but our defense did.
