Jerry is a marketing guy. He definitely cares about what the fans think. You are fooling yourself if you think he doesn't.
He is sensitive to criticism yes.

He is stubborn and egotistical, so he doesn’t do anything about it. Jerry must be proven wrong beyond all doubt before he moves on from a mistake, especially if it involved some bold proclamation from Jerry. See Jason Garrett, Kellen Moore, Jaylon Smith, countless other examples.

I think it’s a sad commentary that these players are holding out of a voluntary workout and passing on an opportunity to set the example and show some accountability that they were preaching about last year in an attempt to improve their negotiating position…but yet fail to perform at a high level against top competition and in the playoffs.
Great players rise to the challenge and inspire their teammates to become better players…but both of these guys fall woefully short of those benchmarks.

My post wasn't pertaining to the marketing aspect of the franchise.

I was just pointing out they're continuing down the same path in running the football operations.

An empty stadium would make a far better statement, but we all know that won't happen. The place is always full of people who don't have a clue what is going on within the organization, they show up in droves regardless. That's why there is never any pressure on the Jones' to make changes.

I wonder how common this is, like across the league, the guys that are expecting $20mm paydays or making that much, if they show up or not.

Cowboys starting QB has been lauded as the unquestioned "Team Leader" (in the locker room, during practices, etc.).
So it should be expected that the Dallas Pied Piper be front and center at the first OTA workout.
true, and lamb and parsons, to set the tone that they are going to be a leader.
Talk about winning and working etc.

I don’t really care.

This team isn’t winning either way.

Wasn't he off practicing with is own specialists last year. He as talking about how he wanted to spend time with Miller, Whitlock and other top pass rushers/blockers to hone his craft.

I'm at the point where I wish we could just try the "did you try turning it off and on again" with the organization and start over.

Would have gotten what you could for Dak, Parsons, and lamb

Or we could bring back zeke so we can finally put the big red squishy clown nose on this circus to top it off
