I just want to highlight the offseason so far, as some moves that seemed small might turn out to be much bigger.
In 2025, they traded for Milton and Pickens, re-signed Turpin, Osa, Furgs, Bland, and Hunter. They went through the draft, and while we’ll see how those picks pan out in a couple of years, they also brought in some key free agents. Starting with Fowler, the signing of James Houston feels underrated and could end up being a bigger impact than expected. They also bolstered their linebacker core by bringing in Murray and Sanborn.

From bringing in corners to strategically cutting and re-signing players for the practice squad, they’ve put in significant effort to make this team as strong as possible without overspending. Sure, people might criticize them for not splurging in free agency and sticking to bargain deals, but sometimes those smaller moves pay off.
For example, the Eagles last year brought in budget players who ended up being key contributors, while their big signing, Brian Huff, turned out to be a bust despite his $17 million-per-year contract. Sometimes, it’s the smaller moves that make the difference.
