We got one of the best DTs in the game and improved at LBer.

They have some flexibility to dump some salaries and add some vet FAs and reload for next year.

This year? Likely too little too late to save the season, but with some guys returning from injury after the bye, the D might stabilize a bit.

But will the offense step up? The last two weeks have been terrible offensive performances. They have the bye to try and get their crap sorted out, but that looks like a tall order

In the end, I don’t hate the trades today as both guys can stick for a couple years

This is why I mentioned over and over again that trading Micah would allow the team to fill many more needed holes on the Interior. Still have our 1's for the next 2 drafts, and got 2 big bodies. With Eze developing, the trade makes much much more sense now

If you think Williams moves the needle you’re wrong.

He's a nice player, but not a guy that's going to win games for you. He's just one piece. He will allow us to start to rebuild the secondary next year though, and that's a major need.

Lets see, we get 2 Pro Bowl DTs and we keep GB 1st round Draft pick this year and have our 1st round this year, and have a 1st round next year, The Future is looking up for this team

I guess they are hoping things normalize a bit when Hooker and Dono get back and Revel works into the mix as well.

Diggs can return down the line as well, and Wilson should be an improvement in terms of coverage at MLBer over what we have been seeing from Murray.

This DL looks to improve vs the run and should put teams behind the sticks and then the pass rush should be disruptive and the ball will be coming out quick which will only help the secondary

I am not saying they are turning into the 85 Bears or anything, but these trades and the guys working in from injury might help in some tangible ways
