No win is a bad win but this one was fugly. Defense again giving up big plays. Again, too many penalties and again, we can't run the ball consistently. This team looks a lot like last years however the defense, despite it's failures tonight, did show some signs. Good hustle, and created some turnovers.

The failure to run the ball consistently really has me upset and worried. We again couldn't run out the clock when up late in the 4th quarter. This is a killer. Can't count on the opposition to make as many mistakes as the Giants did.

My hope is that it's just the first game and the jitters caused some of the issues.

Proud of the offensive line. They surprised me with their pass protection but need more work together to work on run blocking.

Ugly win, but I'll take it every week.

Haha, wow. Our defenses created four turnovers and two TDs. They were by no means the problem.

Man i'm just excited we are getting turnovers. Do you know how long i've waited to see this? I honestly never thought in my lifetime i'd see us get 6 takeaways.

You were writing this before the onside kick, weren't you? Nobody types that fast.

Defensively, A+ job creating turnovers. Secondary was definitely getting burned down the middle.

Love the turn-overs, however, 450 Yards passing, 4 TDs, and a 100+ QB rating by Eli Manning in this game is way too much. The Cowboys are going to have to face much better QBs than Eli this season.

Pretty much the way I feel... but as others said, rather feel that way at 1-0 with the thought that maybe we can improve.

Also, maybe it will turn out that the Giants are just pretty good.

Yea, this bend but don't break defense is a sieve.

We aren't going to face many offenses like the Giants this season. Especially an offense that knows us inside and out. Give the Giants some credit.

I don't care what defense we field. Eli Manning made some deal with the devil to be able to willingly throw the ball on us in the 4th quarter of every game.

The defense did give up easy drives in the 2nd half. But it shouldn't have come to that. We should've went into halftime with a 30 point lead. The way the Giants started, we should've put the nail in the coffin by halftime.

Give me a break. That is absurd logic. A turnover requires awareness and positioning to benefit from a mistake.

Funny how when the team couldn't muster turnovers people blamed the def. coordinators. That tells me the majority of fans believe turnovers are related to coaching. We finally get them and now people think it's the other team making mistakes.

they played soft on the one drive where eli scored quick. Got a 3 and out next drive. I think they were coached toplay prevent on that one drive

I can't believe anyone would call out this defense. Rob Ryan would give away his kids for a game like that and this is our first of the season. I am pumped up after seeing this, finally preseason talk turning into regular season action.
